I like the way this farewell and new move to America wrapped up. Raoul will hopefully be brought back to sanity with the help of his brother. Erik, Christine, and the others will hopefully bode well in America. I wasn't sure if the story was over or not because that last chapter referred to an Epilogue." Whether this story continues or a new one starts, please just keep your writing coming...

For some reason I did not receive a notification for the previous chapter so am reviewing both now.
Raoul really turned out have a darker side, as well as some serious anger/self-esteem issues. The idiot is lucky he didn't get himself killed.
I am so glad our little family goes off to America yet again. Since the background story has changed, I can only anxiously await their new adventures...

Raoul sure has shown us his dark side. I'm sure the drinking and his self- esteem issues make him even more reckless. It's a miracle he didn't get himself killed. He was also lucky that both Eric and Nadir showed him great mercy.
I'm so glad to once again see our little group taking care of each other and heading off to America. Even though the background story is a bit different, I can't wait for their new exploits and angst!

Such a mad dash to save the obsessed and reckless Raoul! Thank goodness we have so much less bloodlust and angst. Instead we have empathy, logic, and guilt. Now let's just hope Raoul has not met his demise. DO hurry with that next chapter...

Not sure how good of an idea it is for Christine to go back to the Opera House. Having everyone in one room may end up disastrous! Erik is much less reactive and open to reason, which is good. Christine is determined and stubborn, yet at least no longer this frightened child. Between the two of them, though, things may get rather...intense...

So much new information for the reader!
As usual, Erik and Nadir look out for each other. Very curious to see how Christine deals with her new background on Erik and how it affects their relationship. I also really liked Raoul having a better idea of who Erik is and how he was forced to live his life.

Raoul is obviously still a controlling, arrogant, obsessive jerk. Nadir is still loyal and endearing. Christine has evolved from a whiney, confused girl to a confident, determined woman. Poor Erik is still caught between disbelief and elation. Great mix for drama and angst!

When I first started reading this chapter I was completely lost. Who is speaking? What characters are being discussed? What is happening? Once I reread and started concentrating, I was able to follow along. It was unusual to have Nadur speaking at length. I really like the way Christine handles Erik and how Erik responds to her. Nadir, as usual, is calm, charming, and insightful.
