Lots of small alliances forming already, the drama is definitely heating up. Not much to say on Katie and Anne Maria going. Poor Trent, although it was funny watching everyone dog pile on him and he being confused.

Great to see this story continued again, I love the mention of the odd Trent hate in Island, so that was pretty funny, it’s a little unfortunate that we didnt get to see some of Harold’s mad skills but theres a ton of time for that.
The challenge was pretty good and the interactions and plots being laid early on are pretty interesting, Anne Maria going was pretty unfortunate since it wasnt her fault that Heather tripped her in the game and got them both out, Katie going was better than canon as she got more focus in this chapter, I’m surprised Staci is still around mostly

This was definitely an interesting challenge. I honestly wasn't expecting another double elimination, but it still works well. And you did surprise me with the eliminations. Well, mainly Anne-Maria's. I honestly expected Lightning to go, but the logic behind Anne-Maria's boot was still solid. As for Katie leaving, I kinda saw it coming. And PLEASE tell me that you'll do something with Sadie now that Katie's gone.

I’m just going to come out and say it, this is the best Total Drama fic I’ve read in awhile and it will easily be one of if not my favorite if you keep up the quality going forward. Like seriously, most fics I just skim through to the elimination, but this one has managed to keep my attention the whole way through thus far. Everyone feels in character and you somehow manage to give so many of them a chance to be acknowledged without making the pacing feel slow. That is an impressive feat and is just one of many reasons I have high hopes for this fic. To avoid being here all day, I’ll end by quickly going through the eliminated contestants.
Leonard: I’ve never enjoyed him, but I will admit he was mishandled in canon. Like, there is absolutely no reason Beardo should have been out first over him, but I did think he got screwed over by the Ridonculous Race where he absolutely should have gotten the chance to develop.
Sugar: while I do think she’s a better villain than most people give her credit for, she’s also incredibly gross and obnoxious so I have no complaints about her going early.
Justin: a surprising choice to go third, but not one I can really complain about. He was beyond forgettable in Island and pretty mediocre in Action so I don’t mind him being gone.

This was another fun one. I still love all these different characters bouncing off each other. Like since Duncan says he has a problem with nerds, similar to how he bullied Harold in canon, he also has a problem with Cameron and Scarlett. He certainly seems to be the most hostile with Scarlett out of the three of them though.
Heather made her alliance like from canon, but even though Beth is still a member she has Staci join instead of Lindsay. Something tells me that she might regret bringing her in if she keeps lying though.
It is also interesting how you are establish an arc for Ezekiel a bit more. It is clear he feels the way he does because of his father but doesn't pick up on the social cues on why it is wrong so instead just doubles down on his sexist and racist remarks even as Damien tries to help him.
I didn't have a problem with the eliminations here though. It was a smart move by Alejandro that got Sugar eliminated, and even though Justin is leaving early I was never a big fan of his. I like how while Lightning was narrow-minded and wanted Shawn gone for losing the challenge for them, others like Zoey and Heather recognize he did the best out of all of them and that makes him an asset instead of a liability.

Great episode, The Awake-Athon is a great challenge for this fic has it has so many characters and this gives everyone time to shine, Damien and Ezekiel are a fun pair and are comedically great, Scarlett playing smart was fun too along with some other things like Alejandro “exposing” Sugar, Justin going was surprising but when it came to him and Lightning I could feel which of the two was getting booted, Who voted for Lightning to get him in the bottom two though?, eh who cares, anyway great chapter and I look forward to the next.

Personally, I had nothing against Justin during season 1 but when he blackmailed Gwen for what Trent did all on his own? He crossed a line. I mean they had just broken up and she was emotionally vulnerable. He said he didn't believe her when she said she had nothing to do with it but if he was lying then he clearly had some bad, bad karma because think of all the injuries in season 2 he got afterwards. I am surprised he wasn't in an Iron Lung by the end. Sugar on the other hand I did not like what she did to Ella who was trying to be her friend. Good job getting rid of those two dirtbags early.

Ooh, I'm liking this chapter! I was honestly shocked to see Justin and Sugar go out so soon. Still, it was a clever play on how they got out. But I am curious about who voted for Mike, Staci, Owen and Cameron and why they did so.
I'm also a big fan of this episode because of the interactions it brings to the table, and you've brought them. My favorite has to be Damien trying to reason with Ezekiel. (And by the looks of it, he'll have his hands full for a while.)
