Awwww! I love how they take care of each other! Even though I desperately still want them to just throw caution to the wind and live their lives together for real. lol

Not to mention that canonically via TNG, Star Fleet doesn't have no frat regs, so the "can't be in a relationship with people under me" stuff she was worried about in the series had to a) have been a reg change in the last few years, b) have been more recommendation than regulation, c) been how her father raised her not what Star Fleet demanded, or d) just been her own personal safeguard. But it's been a while so at the moment I don't remember precisely what she said in the actual episodes regarding it...
