I'm really glad you changed your mind about slowing down Bell's growth. He should be growing at least as fast if not faster than Jin-woo and canon Bell combined.
I really liked the small detail of Bell leveling up by blowing up the spider from the inside-out with his fire magic, just like how canon Bell leveled up by blowing up the minotaur from the inside-out. But I wonder if that means there'll be no more Asterius now since he reincarnated from the minotaur Bell killed in canon and that didn't happen here. Will Asterius still appear in the story? I was thinking he could replace Iron in the Shadow Army.

Damn! First of all, glad to see I was presumptuous of Bell staying a pushover for long. Second of all, hell yeah! He did the urgent murder quest! Now he's one step closer to being the edge lord he needs to be!
So excited for future angst! That, and when Bell finally gets his moment to farm that Aura like Jinwoo did in Season 2. Can't be a Solo Leveling story without peak Aura farming moments!

Depending on his mental state, I feel like Ryuu would be the best one to help him through this. Help him understand while tragic, he did it to defend himself and protect his party member. That he is still a good person. Hestia would be there for emotional support. Lilly well; while haunted about what just happened hopefully understands (if only a little, since she doesn't know about the system) he did what he did to protect them and not hold it against him.

If you could see me when I was reading this, you would be wondering how the hell am I able to read when I'm in the "Absolute Cinema" pose for the last 5 minutes of it.
So, that happened. You cooked. It was delicious. A somewhat old dish but with some different spices, to me that's a plus as it isn't exactly the same thing. Also I had Dark Aria blasting in my ears and it enhanced it so much more.
I agree with the level up, he IS under the system's influence after all, he should be blitzing the levels faster than normal. The only problem with that, at least in my eyes, is that he may grow too much for the Danmachi world.
Honestly, I'm loving what you are doing with Bell. He's changing but he acknowledges it, he understands that he isn't the same as before and plays with it but deep down Bell is still Bell. He may not fluster like before but that heart of gold can't be changed.
To close it, a little thing that maybe you didn't notice in the heat of the moment, Danmachi's magic swords break after one use as they can't withstand the release of the spell inside them. So when Bell was blasted by it, it should have broke right then and there, not have and extra use later. Still, just a small nitpick, the rest was all Cinema.
A little curiosity, how is the party system going to work here? Is it going to be like how the Demon Tower one said it would, by sharing the exp to the members that participate in combat or just by being in the same party will it share it automatically?
