This is a fun idea! I like that it can lean into the discrimination against creature type quirks that was glanced over in the manga. This way we can get it from Izuku's perspective.

I find that the problem with most my hero fics where Izuku has a quirk is how hard authors try to force any little problem they can into Izuku being discriminated against. The intro where he gets beaten up for some minor reason so that he can discover his quirk just feels forced. Also at this point it has been overdone so many times that most readers would probably just prefer to skip it.
