Danny mentally commenting on how fluffy he was made me imagine a small ball of mostly fluff. So cute, but so undignified for him! The fox fruit was an intriguing idea. Then the woods(?) Protecting him from shifting into something that's killed? Very interesting! I'm proud of you Danny for being so strong. You handled that encounter well.

Well Danny once fought and captured a ghost wolf, guess it shouldn't be surprising that he beat one and made others run away while he was shape-shifting as a fox, still it seems it was a victory that meant zo distract himself from the reality he's going through.
