This is a great chapter!
I admit I had laughed at the sheer zealotry of the Vultures at the beginning of chapter. ‘The ode of Lady Lucrehulk.’ You don’t naturally see machines be so fanatical like humans. Lol.
The super battle droids blues. SB2s’ are slow and tanky. If you are unlucky enough to see a colom marching towards you. It would be intimidating at first but they would be out maneuver and out gunned, when they met with tougher resistance. That is not including the inability to right itself back up when knocked down. Wish they would get a mobility upgrade by Lady Lucrehulk soon.
Captain Jaxon Hartly, it was nice knowing you. You will be the first of many Imperial leaders to die in this new stage of war with CIS, and Lady Lucrehulk.
In all seriousness, the world building you used through Jaxon’s innerial thoughts. A nice way to explain the background happenings within the Republic-turned-Empire. From the clones being phased out to seeing the droid army being a glass cannon. Plus, the Imperial arrogance is appearing. Doubt it will last long though.
The real kicker was Hyena-7174. The sheer massive metallic balls this bot broke the Accalamator and possibly won the war. She was willing to sacrifice and die, permanently. I will tell you there are people who would sacrifice themselves for the possibility of victory, and they almost never come back the next day alive and healthy. She was willing to kamikaze herself for a solid victory and was willing to reject a second chance at life. Fighting for a cause bigger than herself and blindly trusting her kin to win the war as she perishes into the night. Then there is her poem as she made her run towards her enemy. Beautiful!
Lady Lucrehulk feeling the hollow weight of war and the responsibility of leadership. This is a first of many for Lady Lucrehulk. The inscription of the fallen soldiers edged onto her halls is a nice service to the dead. Gone, but not forgotten.

Okay I find myself excited even more. Also love the personality that the droids have.
The vulture droids are knockoff Techpriest zealots. Lol. B1s and B2s are smack talking to each other, at least they aren't throwing blaster rounds. Tactical droid seems to have a 'I'm done with bullshit' and a smartass attitude combined.
