Perfect! I read this right after reading Seeking Clarity and it was a perfect follow up. It feels so good to see them living the happily ever "always" that was unfortunately never granted in the series.

I forgot how much I love Castle until I rewatched the show a while ago and immediately after I watched the last episode, I jumped straight here to find Caskett fics. I've read tons since then (and still have tons more to read lol), but yours are one of the best. I especially love your future fics, like this one. It's realistic and I love the twist at the end! They'd make a really great parents. My only regret is that we didn't get to see it in the show, especially with Kate as a mom.
Anyway, thanks for this! I hope you'll write some more in the future!

sooo I haven't read caskett fanfic in idk 4 years? 5 years? it's been way too long
I haven't been on this website since then either that was a little wild it looks the same and also different
anyway somehow today I read one of your short stories on tumblr and then made my way through your tag there and this was in it and I was like yes okay I will read it now and descend down the rabbit hole it's been way too long.

Thank you so much for this. Although I wish it was longer, you gave us what we all so desperately wanted from the show and did not get which is to see them survive, being happy together, having kids and adventures and just being them. Can't wait for your next story.
