Man, the beginning o the chapter fucked me up. Imagine living with someone and loving them as family, they die mysteriously and leave a gaping hole in your heart. Only for them to come back years later to make your life harder, and you discover that the entire time they were just a god role-playing being your grandmother. That would fuck me up, like, were all the moments spent together genuine or was I just being treated as a pet?

Delphini is turning coat, which is the only logical conclusion to reach after all the shit she saw, really. Voldy may not be a god but when he frees the Formorians the sides of the war will be more balanced, I hope Delphini survives (I don't think she will).

Y'know, a candlelight date overlooking the site of a major battle fits so well for Aphro and Ares I'm surprised the thought never crossed my mind. Then again, it's not like we ever saw much of their relationship anyway.

Now, I do hate Aphrodite for cursing Harry to die, not so much for messing with his love life mainly because she didn't outright control anyone, I don't like her interfering but I don't hate her for that.

The thing is though, I'm pretty sure that would've eventually happened anyway. Aphrodite says that if it weren't for her then Harry would be too much like Arty, but I disagree. Harry and Delphini fit so well together that I'd bet they still would end up together even without her meddling. At the end of the day, Harry wouldn't be able to join his mother's Hunt anyway, I'm just pissed at Aphrodite for sticking her nose where she doesn't belong.

Being lured into a dark forest by the Queen of Fae? Yep can't blame Aphrodite for falling for that, I would've folded like laundry. Also, "Tall, goth, and mommy" is going to live in my mind for a while.

I'm fucking laughing, I can't believe Ea-nāsir was promoted from "copper salesman-scammer" to "the one responsible for the fall of Babylon". What a glow-up.
