So Grandpa's going to go ham with his angry stick right y'know the one, The one everyone thinks is his cane/walker but is really only there so he has his angry stick in hand at all times to beat any mothafucker that would? or y'know lightly chastise the grandkids when they get out of hand

So the Uí Néill kid is somehow related to the Fae, I'm guessing that the reason Harry didn't go crazy around him like he did with Fleur is because the Hunt was taking a nap at the time. If they meet again -which will most likely happen- it won't be pretty, Harry already doesn't like the guy and they'll probably fight against each other in the tournament.
You have no idea how happy I am to see Harry taking the initiative to ask questions. In the beginning of the story, the poor boy would have a panic attack the moment The Morrigan looked at him, but now he's not only asking questions he's even quipping with her and being snarky. I'm so proud of him.
Her making a scarf for him is adorable.
It's also killing me that THE Morrígan knows about Monthy Python of all things. To be fair, the Morrígna have been rolling around for a few thousand years or so, considering they only had 3 attempts at bringing back The Morrígan there must've been a lot of downtime for them, so it wouldn't surprise me if the Little Girl spend a lot of time with movies to entertain herself.
Good gods I can imagine the Morrigan getting her bearings after the encounter with Voldemort in the graveyard and spending a good 15 minutes just processing a bunch of movies the Little Girl watched, like "wtf is Star Wars and why do I know so much about it?"
The non-con cave huh? Would you mind telling me where it is? Y'know... just so I know where to avoid and all of that... ... ... Harry is a stronger man than I'll ever be.
SO ANYWAY, we get some more information about the Formorians, which is nice. They are shaping up to be important players in the final confrontation and we already got introduced to them superficially, but it's nice to have a more in-depth explanation of what they actually are. The way they operate reminds me a bit of Cursed Spirits from Jujutsu Kaisen and the Devils from Chainsaw Man.
We also get a few names:
Goll, The Barghest - Fomorian of the Hunt (Jee I wonder if he's gonna be important?)
Regan the Lonely
Conand the Vast
There's also the Lesser Formorian "fear of being lost in the woods" I wonder which True Formorian is the progenitor of that
Anatidaephobia is such a weird thing to imagine, like, how do you even explain it to another person without making them think that it's a joke? (Please let there be a duck Formorian)
If Harry is even faster than Cu was at his prime, then I just can't see how the hell he won't be speed-blitzing all of his mortal opponents from now on. Voldemort can't Avada Kedavra what he can't see, hell, at this point, I'm pretty sure Harry could outrun the spell. Actually, how fast even is Kedavra? IIRC it gets dodged a lot in the final books/movies, maybe for plot reasons, but with how much the Death Eaters keep spamming it -because why wouldn't they?- and not hitting anything, it has to be at least slower than a bullet.
Interesting to note that despite Harry being incredibly fast, The Morrigan can still keep track of him.
So not only is Harry's aspect of the Hunt inclined towards Death, but he's also -unknowingly- The Morrigan's champion... yeah, I can't see him being very happy with that information, they might be getting along quite well now, but describing Harry's feeling towards The Morrigan as "complicated" would be an understatement.
Speaking of complicated, I also really like Harry's relationship with the Hunt. He truly enjoyed himself during the time it was inactive, but it's still a part of him that he missed having, despite all the trouble it causes. I hope he gets better control over it.
I love Aengus already. And I can't even blame him for what he did, it really was the logical conclusion: All his kids got to leave, he got sealed without a fight and knowing that he'd eventually be freed anyway, and he basically got to bang Venus no strings attached. And really, even if he resisted being sealed, what could he even have accomplished? The Morrigan herself said that he can't fight. I'm pretty sure she's just salty.
Also "we and our children celebrated and lay with one another" implies an orgy. Not that it would be beyond my expectations for Venus.
Pretty convenient for Aengus that he mentions "to love and know love to help heal the wounds of his heart" but says nothing of "dying for the ones you love".
I also like the theme of Blessings and Curses that has been showing up in this book. First, Scátty explains the origin of 'Dark Magic' and how it's just magic fueled by negative emotions, the same way magic can also be fueled by positive emotions. Then there's the Greengrasses and how the Blessing of Death ends up being detrimental to their health. And now we're exploring more of Harry's Curse of Love, which Aengus considers to be a Blessing. Ultimately, Blessing and Curses are two sides of the same coin, whether you believe it to be one or the other only depends on your perspective about the received gift.
Don't really know why Aengus called the Morrígan a hypocrite though, given the context of the conversation and that he mentioned she was "in talks with Juno about being sealed" I'm guessing The Morrígan and Juno struck some sort of deal. Maybe he allowed her to keep existing as the Morrígna? Or he allowed her to make "one last prophecy"? (Later in the chapter The Morrígan mentions that Lia Fáil should be safe because of her deal with Juno so it must've been about that)
The way Aengus phrases it implies that The Morrígan's talk with Juno, the Prophecy of Liberation being made, and his encounter with Venus all happened simultaneously.
I bet the person who's been hiding the sacred sites is Brigid. I said in a previous review that I know that Brigid is also a Christian saint of Ireland which matches with her not being sealed and a church being built atop Lugh's seal. It's also been established in the story that deities can change pantheons, with Ishtar becoming Aphrodite. She's also the only one who hasn't shown up yet and The Morrígan clearly cares about whoever is doing this with lines like "a name that clutched at her heart like claws made of summer heat", Brigid is her daughter, so it fits.
I don't know about Haiti's religion, but it wouldn't surprise me that Brigid was a part of it because of syncretism with Catholicism, y'know, because of all the colonizing.
Harry is being happy and enjoying himself, I couldn't be happier. Even when he has fun it's usually fighting or snogging Delphini, it's rare to see him just being silly and making up for his lost childhood.
And you take that stick out your ass Morrígan, let the kid have fun.
Interesting that she mentions that Dumbledore is pretty much her champion already due to the Elder Wand, which carries a piece of Death, or as she puts it, The End. I'm going to assume that The End is related to Terminus, and I'll go out on a limb and say that this is directly related to {Fathomless Black Eyes}. The fact Harry's Hunt is the Promised End makes me think it's also related to the other concepts of Death that have been presented so far.
I'm really curious to know how the Deathly Hallows will work in this story, more specifically the whole "he who wields all Hallows, shall become the master of Death". In the books, it's just a legend and nothing really comes from it -that I remember-, but this whole story focuses on Death so much that it would make sense for that legend to be more relevant.
Harry's observation of the stone's material is interesting, according to him it's "the same polished black slate that the ministry was made out". This took me a bit by surprise, and then I remembered that the Ministry was built atop the Thrones of the Dé Danann, so it makes sense that the material would be the same.
The chant used to free Nuadha mentions "Silver arm forged from the silver sword of burning light", and I know that one of the Irish relics is a Sword of Light. The others I know of are the Speaking Stone and the Caudron The Morrígan used, and think there is another one, but I don't remember.
And Harry pulled back the Hunt! Occlumency is actually giving results, good results, and quite fast at that, especially considering it's something Harry can't imitate. I find it depressing that his idea of "shutting the Hunt away" is putting it in the cupboard, it's an effective way to visualize, but it doesn't make it any less sad, quite the opposite actually, the fact that it works so well is really fucking depressing.
And the last Dé Danann is finally free! I knew he lost an arm, but I didn't know anything about a silver eye.
Seeing THE Morrígan being afraid of Gramps and bowing to him really puts into perspective how important he is.
I also noticed that she refers to Oberon with respect, calling him a Lord, she also calls him "king and creator". The Morrígan is Fae, and is the Queen of the Unseelie Court, but what is her relationship with Oberon and Titania? Is she calling Oberon her creator -as in, her father- or just the creator of Fae in general?
I'm also curious as to how Gramps will treat Harry, with him being part of the Hunt and all. Will he be a serious no-nonsense Gramps or will he be a dotting one, you can never really tell with deities.
Side note: This whole chapter was very horny

So first off Awesome that you are going the extra mile to try and include nay almost entirely revolving the story of these past two books almost around the gods of the isles. I mean Why is it only the egyptian greco/romans or the fucking norse and slavic gods that get attention and the celts are left forgotten. Kinda agree with Theo from the "summer" quest it's like when the romans went through determined to destroy everything with the original culture and then the catholic church just went over the ashes to make sure nothing really survived. So all thats left are fragments.
As to this chapter in particular Harry in the words of Alucard from Abridged Don goofed. never ever ever give any fea/fae that blank a friggen check. guess he didnt read all the old stories.
And yea I know 'lanta is his fav big sis and he's capital D damaged but c'mon never bargain that poorly with any of the 'fair' folk. Especially the goddamned Morrigan she prolly has some clothes a his from the future cuz godly shenanigan's that she'll be washing soon.

A great chapter, I am really starting to miss the Harry and Artemis interactions though. Feels like this is slowly slipping away from the Percy Jackson Universe and into its own thing which is cool but some of that original cast is just too good for me not to miss

Hmm, I can see a drunk Sirius trying to kiss her however I cannot see Atalanta NOT knocking him on his ass for it. After Zeus's curse she wouldn't allow herself to cross that line and break her vows. In my own opinion ️
Now with my opinion is stated, I truly hope you have Harry knock Sirius on his ass when he finds out his sister was only there because Sirius nearly violated her oaths. Sirius knows how much The Hunters mean to Harry and especially Atalanta as a sister. For Sirius to jeopardize Atalanta like that shows either a selfishness or immaturity that deserves a demigod level cranial reset, by liberal use of Sepert Hunters shaft applied with force to the aforementioned cranium.
Any way as always thanks for the update!

You did good with Dian Cétht. And yes you succeed in making him like House.
Tsk tsk Sirius, drunk or not you should know better than to fall in love with immortals. Though if Aphrodite is behind this then she can fuck off. I like Atalanta and don't want to see her go through that shit again..

Another great chapter and the unseelie are an unusually cruel bit I am excited to see what the price is. As the price I am going to guess he will have to fight in the fomorian wars. As you mentioned at the end of some of your previous stories he fought in them and was given gifts by the gods as rewards. Maybe his enlistment was the price. Or maybe it is something completely different, either way I am excited to see what transpires.
I also have the little joke in my head that the hunt is to Harry what us in the reviews might be towards you. Always wanting more and ever present. I thought it was funny, don't much mind if it isn't to others.
Have an amazing day can't wait for more of these amazing updates.

Lol, nice little punch to the gut by saying she would've been up just fine in a few days. I still think Harry made the right call; maybe a stupid and emotional one but its what a hero would do.
