I can't but wonder what the Morrigain is hoping to accomplish that she would smirk about Indech escaping and be nonchalant about it. The only actual thing I can think of is she really does want Harry dead at the end of all this to wipe clean the last remnants of the Romans and that it will hurt Scathach as a bonus.

Keep up the great work. Can’t wait to see how this book finishes and how you set up the next one.

The mantling should actually make Voldemort's death a feat that's impressive enough for Harry to actually cement that legendary status he's supposed to earn in the future, regardless of whether Indech goes down while mantled, alongside or afterwards. Would be cool if Harry could pull it off without needing to mantle himself, but I got my doubts about that.
And Artemis definately has reason to be upset at the Morrigan. After all, it is her fault that Voldemort was empowered by Harry's demigod blood just because her Morrigna couldn't find a better way to release her. That obviously gave him that little edge he needed at certain moments.

Awww, Luna talking about her hubby is very cute.
I am fucking loving everything about Indech. I've always been a sucker for a character that uses "articulated" wings, it's one of the reasons why my favorite character from DMC V is Nero, and Indech makes wonderful use of his wings in combat. I also really enjoy seeing him enjoy himself, he's fighting both Kings of the Tuatha Dé Danann and he's having the time of his life doing it, even if he's still a bit sulky for not getting to 1v1 Nuadha. Haha, he's so disappointed about the lack of battle banter.
AND HERE COMES KEDEER WITH THE ELEMENTAL ADVANTAGE
Y'know Mannanán... I don't wanna say that if you were there from the beginning nothing like this would've happened, but, if you were there from the beginning this wouldn't have happened. I mean, the dude can just instantly teleport to the island, which makes sense since it's surrounded by his Domain, but I understand why it didn't happen. Hell, I'm pretty sure that even if Luna tried to contact him before the fight FBE would intervene somehow.
Props to Theo though, it's been a very shitty day overall, but he's still determined enough to beg to be tortured instead of a close friend, and when he learns his beloved teacher has died needs to be ordered to evacuate instead of continuing fighting.
Where does this curse of Fragarach come from? I know that in the legend of Cú Chulainn the men of his nation were cursed to bear the pain of childbirth in their hour of need because the king made his pregnant wife run a footrace or something like that. The only things I know about Fragarach come from Fate, which... is not the most accurate source, to say the least.
FBE is fun to read in a very distorted kind of way, there's just such a tonal whiplash every time she does anything that I just can't take my eyes off her. It's just so uncanny seeing her cutting her hand on the spear, or struggling to walk when at the same time she has the ability to kill with a touch. She giggles at people questioning their deaths while being so kind when taking them in until they reject her, and then she hunts them with impunity but without hate.
I love beings outside our common sense and how they are depicted, FBE scratches that itch just the right way. I like just how "big" she is as a conceptual being, she is the True End of everything, the heat death of the universe taken consciousness, which begs the question: Why does she have a consciousness to begin with? When FBE was still a mystery I thought she wasn't the Domain itself because I couldn't picture the idea of something so integral to the universe having a sense of self.
And man... Voldy is just not having a good time, is he? I mean he does deserve all the shit he's going to get for what he did.
The Domains of Hunt and Moon are fighting inside Harry to push FBE out, well, good luck with that you two.
So despite being that powerful FBE still can't contradict what "one of the others penned" which in this case would be Fate or Destiny, because of prophecy. Since she is fighting against Hunt and Moon without struggling much, there has to be some sort of hierarchy among the Domains. Is this operating on a similar basis as the Marvel universe where Eternity, Infinity, Death, and Oblivion are the strongest abstract entities?
I would give props to Voldy for still having a strong enough sense of self to stand up to the literal embodiment of the End... but he uses fucking Avada against it and now I have to question whether or not staring into the abyss fried his neurons...
In the words of Syndrome "You sly dog! You got me monologuing". Voldy claims to not want anything to do with muggle culture, but he clearly knows about the secret technique passed down generations of the Joestar family.
God, these dream sequences are so freaky, it really goes a long way to show just how little of humanity FBE understands, I'm pretty sure her logic for the construction of the swing set was "Well, it moves like the joints humans have in their bodies so it should be made of something similar right?"
This and the other dreams raise the question of what exists within FBE's "world". She wants to keep Harry there in this twisted Wonderland, though for her the world is perfectly normal, but what about Iggy? We only see him and not the other brothers, were the punishments different for each brother? In the legend it said that the youngest brother took Death's hand willingly, though that may be false, does FBE love Iggy in the same she loves Harry, which is why he's also trapped in Wonderland? And what about that woman masquerading as Harry's mom, I don't remember anyone with her appearance, but I could just be forgetting.
It's also very interesting to know that although Wonderland is her world, she isn't absolute within it, she HAD to change the set of the play, or else Iggy would have interfered. So she either can't directly influence those within her Domain or the Cloak is still somehow doing something to help Iggy escape from Death's influence, since he is still wearing it.
Kedeer, oh Kedeer, you wonderful badass. I didn't feel for his death as much as I did for Sirius, Atalanta, and Fúa, obviously, but I pay my respects to you Hero of Charity, reincarnation or not, you truly deserve the title granted to your predecessor. May you find your way through Samsāra indeed.
Nuadha and Lugh played their roles wonderfully. I honestly don't think the gods of other pantheons (I'm looking at you, Greeks) would let someone from another pantheon, let alone a mortal, "steal the kill". But these two gigachads not only came in for the assist, but they also made sure to give Kedeer enough time to say goodbye. I also love Nuadha's "It's gonna hurt us, but it'll kill YOU"
Is it weird that I still find Didi (what I'll start calling FBE from now on. I also just realized that she's the "Unspeakable" who tried to lure Harry to the Veil way back, so that's fun) very cute despite all the manipulation and straight up psychological torture she inflicted onto Harry? Like, don't get me wrong I know that those things are objectively evil... from a human standpoint, but we can't force human logic on something that exists outside Common Sense. Or it could just be a me thing.
Ishtar is just so much better than Aphrodite. I'm still salty over the things Aphrodite did, but Ishtar has only shown to be competent and helpful for our side (What do you mean this is her first significant appearance? I can't hear you over the sound of Ishtar giving the personification of DEATH the middle finger inside her own World). Nice little reference there to Ereshkigal too, also known as the best Rin-face (I will not die on this hill, I shall kill on it)
Teacher coming for the save is so cool. She came suddenly and just yoinked Harry out of Didi's grasp without saying a word.
I'm confused as to what "But even her scream was drowned out in the clashing of spears and the screams of another girl." is referring to. Whose spears were clashing and what other girl screamed?
Manannán, I understand your anger, I truly do. But the one reason to not kill her is because you'd have a very angry Dagda hunting your ass if you did. I do worry about the consequences of Luna getting her old memories back, but will it really be all that bad? It seems like she can recall the information just fine when she wants to. When it comes to "regaining past memories" in stories, the worry usually comes from the changes in personality and identity that come with divergent memories, but Luna seems to always act "like Luna" regardless. Maybe Manannán is just being over-protective of his wifey? Again, I don't blame him.
Manannán should've definitely sunk the island btw. Unless that would've interfered with the seal somehow there's no reason why he shouldn't unless he was too lazy for, it since he didn't even bother to take part in the fight the first time.
Also, most of the Formorian leaders are just gone? Sure, they can't seal them anymore, but from the Dé Danann's perspective, it was far from the worst outcome. I'm curious to see how the power balance in the Isles will play out from now on.
I really like this next dream sequence. It's a nice nod to the "IF stories" and to the people, including me, who once thought Scátty had been Lily.
Didi's yandere comes through very strongly throughout this entire chapter, but it's especially true when Harry's trying to wake up. She does love him and truly believes that this is the best choice for him... she's just completely ignoring his own opinion on the matter.
It's also very shitty of her to try and steal away Harry's revenge.
If it wasn't for her interfering with him when Harry and Fúa were eaten by the Lightless Beast boyo would have killed Voldy. Sure, she would have missed out on Fúa's soul, but she clearly wasn't as important to Didi if she went to Manannán instead of her Wonderland. My interpretation is that Didi, despite having monstrous cosmic importance, is still very flawed as a person, she wanted to take Harry for herself and justified this impulse as "taking back the ones who escaped her".
God, I love matchups. A silly little spell to wake someone up is used to hard-counter the "strongest" being in the universe, simply because sleep is still sleep. Granted, I think it only worked because she wasn't paying attention, otherwise the spell would have just "died" like all the others.
On the topic of waking up (since I can't fit this anywhere else), what are the ways someone can escape from Wonderland? My guess is that you only need two things: To have a proper body to return to and have the will to break the illusion. Iggy was already dead, with no vessel for his soul there was no way for him to leave, he also clearly lacked the will to even try until Harry showed up. In Harry's case, he unconsciously knew that something wasn't quite right from the beginning, but Wonderland's influence was messing with his perception. Harry got help to free himself, but theoretically, if a person had a strong enough sense of self they should be able to break free on their own.
Now, something entered my mind: What happens if you kill yourself while inside Wonderland? It's a common idea that dying while inside a dream wakes you up, and in Didi's case "dream" and "death" are basically synonyms. So, in the case where you go insane from the discrepancies inside Wonderland, or you are aware of it but can't break free on your own, like Iggy, if you killed yourself would you escape the "dream" or would it just cause a "death of the mind/self"?
"Fuck Merlin, I am the greatest wizard to ever live" "I would say it's been a pleasure, Potter, but honestly, just fuck you" I love when Voldy breaks character, he can be one of the funniest characters without even trying.
But he still can't regenerate his wounds, I figured that would be the case while within Didi's AOE, it just occurred to me that Gae Bolg can injure him actually, so that's the reason he still can't grow it back despite Didi going to sleep. Quick question though, is the "cessation of propagation of life" a one-time thing or does it linger on a person's existence? I phrased that weirdly, but what I want to know is: Voldy lost an arm to Didi wielding Gae Bolg and now he can't regenerate his stump, if he cuts off the parts that made contact with Gae Bold could he then regenerate the whole arm back since the flesh "touched by Death" isn't there anymore or does it not work because Didi killed the "existence of Voldemort's arm"?
Voldy has every right to get angry at Fawkes, he's won the fight against Harry a good 4 times today, and every time some bullshit happens that doesn't let him deal the final blow. I'd get angry too.
Nice little detail there with Fawkes resonating with Voldy's wand.
Being Dumbledore is pain, I think I mentioned before but this dude's life would make a great Greek tragedy, it really must suck to always be the one left alive while every person who trusts their lives to you keep dying in situations where you can't do anything about it. At least he is finally taking off his rose-tinted glasses and seeing Voldermot for the monster he has become. No more mercy.
How the fuck does Voldy expect to leave this situation alive? We know he will because narrative-wise (and prophecy-wise) he needs to die by Harry's hand and will. But he's worn out from fighting Harry, then fighting Harry, Sirius, and Atalanta at the same time, plus whatever strain he got from conducting that massive ritual (if there was any), THEN he had to escape literal Death, taking a hell of beating in the process, and now he has to face one of the strongest wizards ever wielding the Wand of Destiny and the child of Shuten Douji wielding Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi, and there's also the barrier they made around the island to buff her more. Voldy has been receiving some buffs as well, probably by being connected to Harry, but I don't think just that will be enough to save his ass.
Awww, Luna talking about her hubby is very cute.

Damn this is the best ch ever. The picking up of the danger level from the start of the ch to where a deity above the gods rests in Harry. Never expected that..
Wow hats off dude, you planned the entire series pretty well. Full AU that just hooks you till the end. Amazing..
You just delivered above expectations.
P.S - if your gonna write a book, I am definitely gonna read it. Your planning of the fic is awesome.

A great chapter, and well-written, my only comment is that it felt to me that Harry didn't need to be there, this skirmish would probably have gone exactly as you had written it without Harry and Co. You had built Harry up to this point and then he comes across to me as a dead weight and about as useful as a chocolate teapot. All he accomplished was to get three people killed and even when Terminus makes an appearance, a being that even the gods seem to be worried about, all she does is talk and do nothing but make Voldy run about, leaving his confidence at an all-time high as he survived.
As I said it was a great chapter and well done showing how dangerous the gods can be and setting up the fight between Dumbles/Makoshi and Voldy in the next chapter.
