Y’know, I’m honestly kinda interested what Valéan design philosophy would be based around giving that you’ve stated Vale’s Navy takes inspiration from the Marine Nationale? The natural comparison would be France’s WWII Battleships / Battle Cruisers, but if my Navy history is correct, all France’s designs leading up to the 1940’s were responses to other nations warships.
The decision to have their main armament only forward facing to both reduced to size of the main armour belt whilst increasing its thickness, came from Britain’s Nelson Class.
The Dunkerque Class were a response to the threat presented by Germany’s Deutschland Class, the Richelieu Class were a response to Italy’s Littorio Class, and what was planned to be the Gascogne would been a response to the Bismarck Class. The arms race was very real, so it begs the question: What did Vale’s Naval come out as in the end?
Tell me they kept the synonymous quad turrets design?

Another good chapter make good man see how certain small " all tillery just ignore the autocorrect I think you know what I'm saying aka 6 or 8 inch I'll tell her we could theoretically penetrate her superstructure aka doing minimal damage if any you can't sink the ship by blowing the top of AK the superstructure and turrets are far more heavily armored I don't think there is any weapons on Remnant that could penetrate her belt armour or any of the more heavily armored parts AK the bow the belt the superstructure whelps the conning Tower the superstructure is extremely likely Arman and before you ask yes there is a difference and also like how you're writing this fiction because if you was getting into any fights regularly she would simply stomp anything that got anyway so there's I do not want to fight because I just want to understand my family type of dynamic you have going on he is a lot more of a character-driven story than a combat one would be fair considering how overpowered Ruby is in this FanFiction it's probably the only way she isn't going to March up to Celine and kill her in a single cell phone Salvo sorry for any autocorrect in any of my comments I can't fix them I have tried a lot and it keeps driving me crazy so I've given up but I think you can understand what I'm saying oh and for you ask should girls aren't daman's day like normal humans like imagine a 16 inch shell hits her wherever you would imagine her belt armour would be on her body and penetrates that sure would do proportionate damage to what it would actually do the real ship so it won't just blow her the smithereens it would do damage but the damage would be internal like knocking out a boiler or a few compartments anyway this is my rent see you later oh and it would take heavy I'll tell her it actually penetrate and kill her or even do serious damage that won't just piss her off would be the equivalent of a flesh wound so yeah I don't think Remnant has any weapons that powerful unless they just stuck a whole 400,000 tons of dust under her and like the fuse that 400,000 supposed to say few and I have tried fixing it no less than 42 times and it just doesn't work anyway this is my rent ca I when I'm going to be renting on every chapter and the reason I'm saying all this is because I'm a bit of an expert on both WWII history as well as ship girls as a whole specifically naval history of WWII so I know what I'm talking about iron core sort of the well bore nerd when it comes to Azur Lane and kantai collection so if you need any help just ask I probably will know it off the top of my hand or if I don't I probably do know how to find it very quickly any information you may and you may want just ask so expect long-winded comments like this one when I do post them post that it was and sorry for any autocorrect again I can fix them I have tried too many times it's just I am aiming to do this on my phone so weird with that as you will

Oh dear. This won’t be Ruby’s last meeting with Adam, I predict. It’s nice that Ruby is sticking with her Code, despite her saying affection is a poison. I do worry, however, that Adam will refuse to let Ruby maintain said Code. He’ll keep finding sneaky way’s to recruit her, up to the point where he loses patience and tries to eliminate her.

This is fun. But the design of Sovereign is silly.
No ship expecting to take damage will have 1 room that controls so much of its function that if taken out cripples it, outside of the engine room itself. Even then most large scale vessels have multiple engine rooms.
I severly doubt there is 1 fuse that removed will disable an individual gun. Might electrical power to it, but then the gun wil default to local control. Even if such a fuse exists, I doubt it would be next to 3 others that control the other guns.
Also there is no cutoff room between a ships engines and its propellers. I don't follow how messing with this electrical room was suppose to knock out the movement of Sovereign.
