This is cool. I like this. Also, I feel silly about my last review, since you went and murdered the autistic child, like, immediately after we had her.
I wonder why Salem thinks removing his worldly tethers will make Jaune join her? He’s just gonna work harder to torture her. Then again, she’s so used to people who see and hear unkillable immortal and give up. She’s in a rude surprise when he condemns her to a fate worse than death.
And now I’m finally all caught up with this mindfuck…I guess I have to wait now…
Oh and yeah, give him it. Why are you worrying about making him too strong when he’s gonna fight Gods not too soon? And not just regular gods like the Brothers, but full-on H.P Lovecraft gods that drive you insane when they so much a GLANCE at your general direction? He’s gonna need them.
Not to say that I want you to rush, just that you really shouldn’t be concerned of power creep when the main character is gonna fight multiple demigods, gods and super gods. Salem may be Remnant’s final boss, but for Jaune and Yharnam? Start of late game, at best.
Though Jaune will definitely wait until he’s “settled” into his new inhumanity to go through that acid trip again. So I suppose it doesn't matter that he gets it now when he’s going to delay it anyway.
Good luck with Job Hunting, hopefully you don’t find yourself suddenly hunting for something else.

I've tried to read this three times now. The basic English is so poor that i cant get into it. Fucking sucks seeing ideas and stories held down by something like that.
Without the basic mechanical skills it doesnt matter how far the ideas can go, it will always fall short. The same is true vice versa as well.

As for the Celestial Child... This creates an interesting change. Since normally, the children of Old Ones tend to die soon after birth. Jaune saving this one... Is akin to fighting a fundamental law of reality.

Amazing chapter. Your way of describing the eldritch horrors gives me a vivid picture. I am 90 % sure that what I'm picturing is not accurate but that makes it better in my mind. It tinges everything in insecurity that what I'm am seeing isn't real.
Although it does come with some drawbacks. I reread the section with Ariana in Gilbert home 3 times and I wouldn't have been able to tell that jaune got an umbilical cord until I saw it in the authors notes.
Probably intended but I was a bit surprised to see you say it was his second. My first reaction was "when was the first" then my second reaction was "oh that's what that was".
Not saying it's a bad thing, by all accounts it adds to the mysteries, but at some point I would like some clarification in the story about past events.

It returns with another good chapter and boy ol boy, fucking emotional for real. Jaune is going through it for real, glad Gehrman is there to be his father he never truly had and that he was proud of him and Gehrman demons came back for awhile. Cinder will die a painful death. Ariana is going through it as well and happy he didn't kill them or let them kill themselves cause they deserve to live better lives and glad Jaune is helping them. The conversation is absolute peak writing for real, Jaune is beautiful person indeed, he shines so bright yet so warm like the wondrous sun and even as he suffers, he continues to move forward in the end. ABOSULTE CINEMA, 10/10 chapter easily. I await for the next one to come. Also, good luck looking for jobs I'm looking for one to and it's tough indeed barely any jobs and even when I get one to apply for it gets denied or takes so damn long.
