Good chapter. I was worried you had abandoned this story, with the time length between chapters. Padme using the force was something I always thought was logical considering her intelligence and uncanny insight, physicality, and perfect sharpshooting. If she's not getting a lightsaber, then perhaps two customized, kyber crystal powered hand blasters made by Anakin. That would be awesome.

Anakin was much too old to not form attachments aside to other Jedi. That being said, Hayden Christensen gets ragged on because he followed a well written script for an abused former slave turned Jedi who eschew emotions and who no knowledge of how to talk to women as a love interest, as no one ever taught him... An adult, as Padme would have been would be impossible to train to be a Jedi.

I just want to say the Obi-Wan was by no means young when he took Anakin as his Padawan, he was canonically 28 at the time.

If I may suggest something.. while Padme does not have the potential to be a true Jedi and do things like push or pull things.. I think it'd be cool if with time and practice we could see her lightly enhancing herself physically with the force and using it to not only enhance her aim but allow her to sense where she needs to shoot.
