Oooh! This story was so, so good! There were some arguments and events that I didn't really understand, but overall, I'm in awe of your imagination and talent. Hopefully, you'll get to the sequel, but I realize there's a possibility that it won't happen. Oh, well. I'm still grateful for this one! Loved Bella's sense of humor.
I finished reading this story on November 7, still trying to accept these last eventful days, but hate, which was captured very well in this story, scares me a lot. I'm a non-white second-generation immigrant (my parents were political refugees) in a Western European country, and this is the place I call home, I've been living here my whole life (since I was a baby) and I now have children of my own, born here, who, despite of their native father, aren't white either. I feel how the tides are changing around the world, and I fear for both my own as my own children's safety and long-time prosperity. So this story really hit very close to home. I know, from history, that if things turn for the worse, the threat won't come from some nameless stranger. History has, time and again, shown that it will be our neighbors, colleagues, and other fellow citizens who will cross those basic lines of decency when they give in to hate. I try not to be too pessimistic these days, and to not foment irrational fears, but it's a challenge. If you write a sequel, I can only hope that I'll be inspired to be more hopeful. After all, history has also shown time and again that we are indeed capable of overcoming hate and building better and equal societies.

That was insane… what a journey. That was extremely traumatic for Bella, Edward, and Adelia, I feel like they had no real time to be a family— very much like the Twilight saga and Renesmee. Disturbing little alien world. I will definitely be reading Book 2.

Oh man, so many questions. What does the seeding process even entail? I’m enjoying reading this so far, I had finally been able to pick it up again last night and I have been utterly immersed in this new universe. Edward is so very charming and I’m loving this exploration of an alien world and its society.
