I don’t think I’ll ever watch the balcony scene the same knowing all the details of all that happened this night.
I don’t like to dislike Elsa because the only decent thing she does is bowing out gracefully but she is so wrong for Georg and so wrong for those great kids.
Can’t wait for the next part. You’re going to enhance the scene with your great writing skills.

What a wonderful story. I love the cliff hangers and how well you describe the emotions of Georg Elsa and Maria. You have turned 5 minutes of film into an epic and I can't wait to see what happens next.

I read this earlier today and couldn’t review until
just now, but oh my God we’re reaching canon territory ohoho (to be read in Georg’s silly voice)
Okay so, I really wanted to fight Elsa one last time when she was being REALLY nasty to Maria and good thing that my girl Maria didn’t let her make her feel cornered and fought back however she could and despite the hurt! Good thing that Max got in the way, too, because it looked like Elsa was about to make things worse rip
Oh and the way you connected your version of the pre-canon events with the scene we see in the movie! So very clever! When Maria was feeling down and then Georg finally saw her from the balcony, ahh one of my favorite moments in the whole movie and i’m so glad you added it here.
And finally: THANK GOD ELSA IS GONE NO ONE MOURNS THE WICKED (GOOD NEEEEWS)
In all seriousness, I’m surprised she finally stepped down just like in the movie because wow, the insistence was real oml but it makes sense for her character and you made me hate her so much (i already dislike her in canon but wow), and that’s a statement on how you make us readers feel every emotion intensely which is always a great thing imo
I truly cannot wait for what’s to come, especially if that’s what i’m hoping it is, but seated for whatever you have in store for us! Thank you for sharing and welcome back! :)

My excitement seeing that you had updated this story and I launched in immediately! Seriously, Elsa is the biggest cow and b*tch here the way she speaks to Maria. I really want to slap her. No wonder Maria was wandering the grounds later that night, despondent. Poor Maria - she really needs someone to find her at the gazebo and put things right...
I'm glad Georg is finally coming to his senses and i like how you continue to use the children to shake some sense into him.
But lordy lordy! Elsa sneaking into the master suite with the intent of seducing Georg! Oh what a sight! I would have LOVED to see the shocked look on Georg's face if he'd come waltzing back into his room to find Elsa lying seductively across his bed! Whoa...
I did like how you eventually brought this story back to canon and to the scene with Georg on the balcony looking at Maria in the grounds and Elsa finding him there, dazzling in that red dress. It was almost like this entire story could have happened between the scenes of the movie then everything continues like normal. However, I was a little surprised that Elsa bowed out so graciously, especially after chapters and chapters of her being a super villain - I had thought she'd put up more of a fight, but then again, this story wouldn't have slotted into canon quite as easily if Elsa really got out her claws and laid into Georg when he'd broken it off with her.
As always, I look forward to any updates from you. Amazing work, as always.
