Quartermass, shatterbird was confirmed as a vial cape, cauldron even went out of their way to use battery to keep shatterbird alive during the s9's attack on Brockton. Cauldron keep the nine around because they tormented, not just killed. Tormenting people is one of the most efficient ways you can to cause triggers, and cauldron wanted as many capes as possible for the final battle.

I would love to see more of this. Is Riley going to become a heroic titan that heals people? What would her hero name be? Would she meet Taylor? Would the two of them be friends? Could Riley destroy an Endbringer? Will you please publish another chapter? This is too good to be a one-shot story.

Holy sheeit...you know, this is a pretty horrific AU of what could have been...and what SHOULD have been. Bonesaw was one of the greatest tragedies of "Worm". At least here, she presumably gets therapy and hopefully becomes a hero...or at least a well-intentioned Rogue...
Shatterbird got her powers from Cauldron? I did sort of know that Manton/Siberian did, but Shatterbird? Remind me again why Cauldron didn't go after the Slaughterhouse Nine? I can understand their attitude towards Brockton Bay to some degree, even if I detest it, but surely wiping out the S9 would be within their capabilities? They're not Endbringers, and they don't have the dangers the Butcher does...

Well, Jack found what he wanted (someone with an interesting power), even if it wasn't the way he expected (he and his minions victims of that power)
This time with Riley using her power to stop the bad guys (not even Manton was spared) and save her family and pet.
Something strong this one shot, because even from the point of view of a little girl, we see her murder and dismember a lot of villains, surprising me that her family (who she saves and heals) was not scared by what she did, because if they had been scared of and rejected Riley, said trauma, perhaps it would have created a monster worse than Bonesaw, which did not happen, thanks for those small mercies
