Not many people actually sign their own death warrants, let alone in blood. Lappy is a different breed altogether. I imagine Qrow is going stop the whole sandbagging thing he’s been doing. I know Maria has probably been pushing him, but considering all his skill is that of a 40 something year old using a different weapon I imagine it’s about time for him to forge a style that will help close the gap a lot better for his current body rather than simply letting experience be the only buffer that gives him an edge. Also curious how this will affect Raven going forward? Excellent work as always! Can’t wait for more!

This would hit harder if the author hadn't forgotten that Summer visited their old orphanage with Qrow and Raven. All of her questions about orphanages have been answered back then. Heck, Summer even spoke with the matron about how good Qrow was with the other kids and saw how much the kids adored Qrow. Those mistakes keep happening especially with this story, but I guess it's hard to keep track of details while writing several stories at the same time.

This took a turn for the worse. I'm all for a more mature perspective from Qrow a majority of the time, but now, I want to see blood. I hope this also pushes him into being more proactive with not only his basic training, but also his semblance discovery, as well as his pursuits regarding Lappy and Salem's other underlings. Can't wait for the next chapter.
