Very good so far. I like how this isn't a GreaterGoodDumbledore! fic where he is cartoonishly evil like most fics nowadays. Your Dumbledore seems more aligned with canon and, despite being well-intentioned, he still seems like a deeply flawed person (This was my impression so far, at least). I'm inclined to believe Sirius will eventually end up butting heads with Albus in the political field and I look forward to it. Another great thing is how you portrayed the characters, your interpretation of them gives space for nuance and each gave a distinct impression while reading. You also did well in not overdoing the formal/political interactions to the point of being contrived as is so common with those blood inheritance test Black/Potter Harry (or Hadrian for whatever reason) political fics where the author tries so hard to make the story seem serious and formal that it just ends up looking silly and unrealistic.
As for the quick success of this fic in comparison with your other ones, I believe it stems mostly from how immersive it is in its first chapter. It grips you from the start, making the reader empathize with the character and quickly building tension, the trial itself was a rollercoaster of emotions. In other words, you slammed a whale-sized fishhook right in the reader's mouth. I haven't read all your other fics yet, although they most certainly are sitting on my reading list now, but while reading your other HP fanfic I noticed the start is much slower in comparison and some factors like the heavy AU together with the tone shift after the MC joins Hogwarts probably put off a lot of readers. So, even if the writing quality of both fics is roughly the same (amazing for ff standards), this one is easier to get into.
I don't usually review, but I liked this fic so much that I decided to help it gain visibility in whatever little way I could. Also, if you want more visibility changing the fic cover to something more interesting and appropriately themed would go a long way, you'd be surprised by how many people decide to read or ignore a fic just from judging its cover. Getting a nice cover can be surprisingly easy using one of the many free AI image generator websites out there. If you want to broaden your audience as well, I also recommend you crosspost your fic on Sp ceB ttles (Roy lRo d and AO3 are not bad choices as well).

I very much think that Sirius would care for Harry if not for the fact that he is James' son and it has been established that this *is* Sirius Black - Deluxe Edition. So why wouldn't he care for the boy that he was named Godfather of and that he might still have memories of.

Much of this chapter is about all the injustice really could you be more emo dropping someone in sirius right in azkaban?
If you think sirius can change the world as minister than you have no idea how their world works. Any move against the wizengamot will see him removed. And what about his revenge?

I cant wait till the next chapter, i was so angry for Siruis during the trial i had to stop a moment and start pacing myself to calm down before i somehow figured out how to fight Dumbledore, the straight up betrayal, corruption and discrimination just made me wanna scream, evicting emotions from the reader is a great trait to have whether its anger, sadness or anything and i applaud you on that as you have amazingly have done and evicted anger out of me, even if this comment doesnt mean much, i hope it encourages you to keep writing

I read and adore your stories but this one I particularly love. I love political stories and this one feels like the beginning to something interesting. Keep up the good work.

This was an amazing start. While reading I was able to empathize with Sirius's situation, I felt a building tension during the trial, and the conclusion felt really good. This seems to be going in a more mature direction but doesn't look to be going for edginess, which is nice since edginess generally translates to cringiness in ff. I was able to grasp a bit of the SI's personality and it meshed in a very interesting manner with Sirius's own personality and situation with their merge. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
