Whenever Harry makes a stupid decision (even if in this case it was only going along with Fleur's stupid idea to have that conversation in the Ministry rather than at home), I just know that you will use it as a stupid plot-device - in this case to have Harry be present, when the Ministry gets attacked (it was painfully obvious that would happen the moment it was suggested that they go there and not wait until James comes home). If him being there was such a necessity, why not just have him go there to get his apparition license or something like that? Something that makes sense and doesn't require yet another show of just how completely free of common sense your version of Harry is.

Please have Harry find out Snape knew about the attack beforehand

"If Harry hadn't been selfish, hadn't elected to come to this universe to see his family again, there wouldn't be another Boy-Who-Lived who was marked for death. That burden wouldn't have been passed on to somebody else."
So he actually believes that world only exists because he decided to get reincarnated there? Or that his decision somehow forced Voldemort to choose the other Chosen One candidate?
His arrogance truly knows no bounds, does it? So full of shit...

"Name of the man whose home we are here to see?"
"Tom Riddle,"
They're there to see the Gaunt shack. Neither of both Tom Riddles ever lived there or had any reason to call it "home".

hhhggg the only thing that ruins the whole experience of this story is that you forgive Neville for all his stupidity, he accused Harry of being a mortifier and complicated the story even more, yes yes, we already know that he suffered a lot blah blah blah blah poor thing, author, at least for what remains of the story they have at least some self-respect, now will Harry get pregnant with Neville? Stop justifying Neville, he's an idiot, no, we already know that he's going to stay with Dahlia, so save yourself from trying to make us feel empathy for him because the more he comes out the more I hate him, now Lily is the insufferable one, she was Dahlia but Lily is getting over her, if Harry knows that in England I will be very angry
ps: I already want J to read all the chapters, and comment on the last one so that he doesn't have a stroke before xD
ps2: that's why I left I'm not going to comment much on this story because I'm not very happy with it, unfortunately I've been reading this story for too long and I want to finish this story as soon as possible because of how messy it is.

"The impostor wouldn't dare harm you or any other student before the Task,"
Yeah, right. Because the Great Harry Potter says so. He doesn't even know who the imposter is (and why the hell are they called an "imposter", when they may not be impersonating anyone? For example it could be just Karkaroff as Karkaroff and not as anyone else.), but in his infallible greatness Harry still knows without any doubts what that unknown person would dare or not.
As full of shit as Harry is, it is a miracle he doesn't stink like the biggest dung heap in the world.

Don't really get how stubborn Lily is with the whole Snape shit and it REALLY detracts from the story.
He's ONLY offering sanctuary for her and she doesn't see anything wrong with that? Harry hasn't told her that Snape basically admitted to feeding the prophet gossip about her and James to fuck with their relationship?
Either it doesn't go anywhere and it is a plot point that's been harped on to no end for zero reason.
Or she DOES have some sort of affair with Snape and it just torpedoes her entire fucking character and their whole family. This is the only way I see all of this buildup actually leading to something and it's just insane, and Dahlia going 'give him the benefit of the doubt' is also completely insane. Lily is by far the worst of this family (somehow took the spot from her daughter), while James is fighting to keep an entire country afloat and his son out of Azkaban Lily drinks herself senseless and entertains a 3 decade long obsession from an eternally single, creepy motherfucker. Just more god awful shit polluting an interesting plot, all of these characters are so flawed in all the wrong ways.

"I would find another way to purge the soul fragment without killing him,"
It's possible to do, because Harry decided that it must be possible, because he won't accept anything else?
Such an arrogant, conceited, naive, self-righteous, stupid, stupid moron.
He has no business running this war effort. He's clearly completely unsuited for it. Too pathetically self-righteous to accept that things may not go his way and then shocked when that attitude constantly and without fail leads to everything steadily getting worse than it ever was in the other timeline.
He was too stupid to kill Lucius Malfoy, when he had the chance. Does he seriously believe this war can be fought without anyone dying on either side? Or is he too pathetic to do what he knows needs to be done - namely actually killing at least certain Death Eaters - even when he clearly endangers the war effort and therefore absolutely everyone with that attitude - including his own family?
And this "I owe Neville this."-crap... He doesn't owe Neville shit. It shouldn't have been him, either. Just more self-righteous crap. In that world it always was Neville, never should have been Harry. He has exactly ZERO responsibility for Neville. Just more of that pure arrogant self-righteousness of his: "It is that way, because I have decided that it is so, because I'm too pathetic to accept anything else."
If Neville is "blissfully unaware of the danger and still dreaming of fame and glory in the Third Task", then FUCK HIM! He knows all he needs to know to realize there's danger afoot. If he wants to disregard that in favor of getting himself some fame and glory, how the hell is that Harry's problem, especially if Neville doesn't want Harry's help?
If Neville survives due to Dumbledore's convoluted plan, fine, why not?
But I'll be seriously angry if Harry is actually rewared for that pathetic attitude of his by managing to save Neville's life himself.
It would be best, if Neville dies despite Dumbledore's plan, because of Harry's meddling. And Harry must realize that afterwards. With that attitude he certainly deserves that failure.
"So you understand why I can't trust Dumbledore, then? He refuses to tell me the truth when it could mean my life depends on it!"
What. Utter. Bullshit.
Dumbledore refuses to tell Harry something that Harry, despite not knowing anything about it, has decided his life depends on.
Maybe Dumbledore simply truly KNOWS that the prophecy has nothing to do with Harry?
Nah, can't be. After all, Harry has decided that he knows better, because he won't accept anything else.
And that idea of reintegrating that soul fragment...
Complete bullshit too.
Leaving aside how none of that is ever even hinted at in canon (an obviously no such thing was ever actually done in canon), and leaving aside that you cannot just put your soul together again (that requires remorse, remember?) - if Voldemort gave a shit about having an intact or at least less fragmented soul, first, he wouldn't have created so many horcruxes in the first place and, second, he could have simply used the much more accessible ring horcrux, which probably contained a bigger piece of his soul anyway, since it was created earlier.
Why the hell send Pettigrew to Hogwarts for the diadem? Completely pointless. Nothing more than an absolutely transparent plot-device for artificially creating more drama.
And that imposter? Probably not an imposter but just Karkaroff. Moody already suspects him and, once again, Harry has arrogantly decided and made it clear on several occasions that there's absolutely no chance that it could possibly be Karkaroff. Yes, because he was never wrong about Pettigrew, Quirrel, the identity of the diary holder and so on. Why should he bother learning from those mistakes, when being stupid is the far superior plot-device?
The way you have decided to write Harry he is nothing but an absolute utter and total VICTIM. The type of person who will always be a victim, because he always insists on feeling like one, cannot accept that he deserves good things and throws them away ("Oh, I know, I'll just give away my best friends to Neville. He deserves them sooooo much more than I do, despite him never having done anything to deserve anything. Oh, and I'll just give him my cloak too, because why not?"), doesn't nearly sufficiently appreciate what he has (he just forgot to write to his sister in first year, made the same mistake with her in second year that the Weasley brothers made with Ginny, namely ignoring her, and so on), he whines about still not getting the normal childhood he deserves (how the hell would that work, wise-ass, if you absolutely have to do everything in your power to get all the attention you allegedly don't want by constantly making an ass out of yourself in the most spectacular and public manner possible?) and, of course, he insists on always being right about everything, never once considers he might be wrong (except when he has an opportunity to whine about the possibility of not being able to change things) and then naturally almost always makes the wrong decisions.
Also, Harry is clearly way more arrogant and self-righteous than Dumbledore.
