With all that's going on, seeing Nanami again is like a breath of fresh air. Certainly a very welcome turn of events

Some might find Ironwood's reaction to be excessive. Severe. Beyond the pale.
I consider it justified.
He is a man with limited knowledge of a situation thousands of years in the making, and does not at all possess the time or personal wherewithal to take chances when a great danger is standing before him, possessing every capability of destroying the world should it so choose. He is the leader of Atlas, the most technologically advanced and militant nation on the face of Remnant, and a veteran of likely many conflicts and battles. He is not someone with the luxury of doing everything he can to preserve and save one life compared to the millions that can and will be threatened should he do nothing; it is both his job and his duty to do what everyone else refuses to do. And now with his suspicions given credence, he will have no reason to believe someone like Yuji should be allowed to live - because for all intents and purposes, he is a walking nuclear bomb with no fail-safe measures, and he's proven that he can go off at any moment if he ever loses control.
I can see the character arc that is being laid out before Ironwood. His potential and what impact he will have for the story going forward. In that same train of thought, it also makes his future clashing with Ozpin all that more intriguing to ponder, for I have some certainty on who Oz has in mind to be the "new" Winter Maiden, and it will only embolden Ironwood to act against the Immortal Wizard even more. I suspect things will not go exactly as planned there for Oz.
Then again, provided what Oz has planned, I doubt anyone is ready for what that end-result will be anyway.
I have some idea what that will be, of course.
Also: Kudos to sticking with the Tinman theme for Ironwood and expanding upon it. Makes me wonder how different it would be as a Cursed Technique.
Speaking about Oz though, it seems his little trip to the Cursed Realm inadvertently caused Kenjaku to get the idea of having Yuji. What joy. Although with having taken a journey back to the past, I imagine he must be thinking in the back of his head just how old Sukuna and Sorcery is in general if they existed before the Age of the Brothers - and all the implications that brings.
Food for him to munch on, I suppose, before the eventual storm of shit he's going to find himself in soon. Especially as the world tilts even further upon its axis.
Hm. Just remembered: Wouldn't taking and using the staff cause all of Atlas to like, fall? lol
If that's Oz's great plan, then I gotta say, yeah, Ironwood would probably justified in keeping Oz chained up somewhere in a dark cell - cause holy shit would that be going to extremes.
On a calmer note, look at that, Yuji gets to have one more talk with Nanami. Surely this won't be bittersweet.
Well, until the next one.

Yeah, Yuji has stuff to confront after spending his time adamantly trying to run away from what he is now.

I think this chapter is really good. The suspense that you left at the end of the chapter is really very good, the truth is that I was not expecting Nanami at the end of the chapter and I also think that this chapter is the most mysterious that you have written so far and I would really have to read it again to enjoy and decipher this chapter more. I liked how unique this chapter was and now I really want to know what will happen next between Nanami and Yuji since Nanami is one of my favorites and her interaction with Yuji will be unique now and more than anything how is it possible that Nanami is in the cursed kingdom if it's not a curse. Or probably because you are a sorcerer, the truth is you left many doubts for the next one, I will look forward to it.
Greetings and good health

Fucking hell, that free hug Gojo section is somehow sadder than anything else I've seen in this fic so far, it hit like a gut punch.
