Your story is good, but I find myself closer to skimming as it goes on. I never read Percy Jackson so I am more curious about what he will do, but the proportion of chapters with him so far seems low. Maybe I just haven’t reached the part where he will get his second wind of POVs. If that hasn’t changed by the current chapter I would suggest focusing on him more.

I liked this one. Loved the quip from Percy near the end. And I really find the Iron born to be such hypocrites, whining and moaning about the Greenlanders not fighting properly, or how the Iron Born are better warriors, yet we often see they are just that Reaver's and mostly attack and fight when they have a clear advantage, whether that's surprise, attacking smallfolk or those more vulnerable. Granted they do and have a few times attacked proper keeps and or well defended places, but usually still with an advantage in numbers, surprise or something else. Victarion here clearly acknowledge he did not attempt to attack Barrow town like he should have since it would be way too costly and they would have a difficult time escaping, the other man with him mentioned it too, they were reavers and preferred that to actual even fights. Probably why they ran instead of facing thr incoming Northern army.
Curious as to what Balon supposedly is doing with the lumber he got from Asha.
Really curious about the fog too Victarion. You are right in finding it unnerving.
Would love to see more of the Northern campaign. Honestly Percy and the Northmen should probably capture the way undermanned fleet that is in the river, it would be much more useful to them if they capture it than I'd they destroy it.
Anyways a little shorter than I would have liked, but like always it was well written and engaging.
Thanks for the treat.

Well this is certainly an interesting chapter can't wait for the chapter that would explain what's going on from the other side point of view. Have a pretty decent idea of what's going on anyway. Since the ironborn can't see them they could easily have more horse than men there and use the sound to make their force seem larger. Currently what they're doing is inflicting psychological warfare. Whittle enemy down with easily explainable stuff but would also force them to remain alert through the night. As well as making use of things that would seem supernatural or could inflict fear to shake their resolve. The trick with the fire would be a bit trickier to explain though outside of perhaps imitating a fire breather stunt.

PJO x GOT crossover? Feels like Percy is just there and that's the extent of it. His presence is what brought magic back to Westeros and therefore the cause for all these annoying ass random POV chapters and the various characters getting powers (something I despise). I'd be more inclined to like this work (as much as I did in the beginning) if it was actually a Percy Jackson in Westeros work. I actually think multiple characters have had more chapters than Percy. Like the writing is always top notch but I've noticed myself clicking when I see the update and as soon as I realise it's another boring ass non-Percy chapter, I scroll through in about 2 seconds and pray the next one will have the Percy POV. This work went from that amazing rescue scene with Sansa to them getting to White Harbour and then everything falls apart.
