I really wish that Spencer would give Esme a break and not jump to conclusions when she turns up missing, like saying that she abandoned Ace when he needs her. Spencer knows what abandonment is like and that's not Esme; he's seen her be a good mother to him, so he should back off a bit.
I hope Mac doesn't reject Cody and hold this over him like he did for a while in the show. Their relationship is so sweet and even though they're okay now, it was terrible watching Mac (understandably) scorn him the way he did. I do like your reasoning better for Cody lying to Mac about being his son; it's definitely a lot better than Cody lying because he wanted his alleged father's inheritance.
Poor Felicia, losing her daughter all over againAnd Heather is C-R-A-Z-Y to kidnap, drug, and hold Esme hostage. It's pretty disturbing how she acts towards her. I have to wonder, though...is it REALLY because Heather Webber is a psycho or is she so convinced that Esme is her daughter because Ryan manipulated her? Or...and this would be an interesting twist...is she feeling that way because SHE also had another child other than Steven and Franco, a baby girl of her own who was similar to Esme, that died and she still can't accept it so she has to picture Esme in her place?
Anyway...great chapter!

My heart really ached for Esme and Felicia in this chapter. It makes sense that Spencer would lash out because he's scared, but blaming Esme for Ace's illness when she's been doing all that she can to care for him is just wrong. Yes, Esme was a bad person, but she's a good mother. She doesn't deserve to be accused of being the reason for her son being in the hospital.
Felicia's confession to Kevin about her daughter Frankie hurts. I can't imagine coming home, expecting to see my baby only for her to be gone. Though I don't think she should have kept leaving Maxie and Georgie, I can understand why she'd be searching for Frankie herself every time she got a lead.
I'm not a fan of Millow. Friendship? They're great, but couple? NO. Crossing my fingers that there could be a Chillow and Misha reunion now that Millow is done. It's nice to see that Willow is prioritizing her relationship with Nina; it's amazing to see that after so long of them being at odds.
Finally, in terms of DNA, it would be the best option for Felicia to talk to both Cody and Esme first. Even if her intentions are good, running another DNA test on Cody is already a breach of privacy, so confronting him with the results wouldn't do any good. And Kevin's right; Esme's very fragile right now and she believes that Heather Webber is her mother, so springing this information on her would do more harm than good.
I really love this story so far.

I love that Willow stood up for her mother here and put her foot down about Michael sleeping somewhere else; it reminds me of the feisty Willow in the beginning who didn't put up with anyone's crap and I miss that Willow, as you can tell when I write her.
Ace having the same disease as Maxie...suspicious. Sometimes, as with Michael's heart condition as a baby and Wiley's when he was a toddler, medical conditions can be genetic, so if Esme's son has that, plus the way Felicia reacted to Esme's birthday and how she had to stop herself from saying what I assume was "grandmother," Esme's going to turn out to be Felicia's youngest child. I hope when that comes out, it doesn't cause TOO MANY—if any—issues between Esme and Felicia; she already feels uncomfortable around Felicia, she doesn't need to shut her out because she doesn't trust her.
Spencer...oh, Spencer, I do love you, but you need to lay off of Esme about Ace. I understand that Spencer is probably worried about how Ace will be raised when he remembers how cruel Esme was before her amnesia, but she is trying to be a better person. Hopefully he'll give her some slack because at this point, I think he's just projecting his own issues onto him and being overprotective because of it.
I love that TJ and Molly recognize that Kristina's offer to be their egg donor and surrogate has its own difficulties and want to adopt baby Scarlett instead (RIP Scarlett's birth mother), but judging on Heather's comment about why Ace was wearing pink, I think they're going to have to FIND Scarlett first before they can adopt her.

*Sighs* Oh, boy... I love Carly, but she really just made a fool out of herself here, accusing Sam of being jealous and not wanting to acknowledge that Donna and Avery might not be the good girls she thinks they are. I'm hoping that she has some development later on, same with Drew. I loved him when Billy Miller was playing him (RIP Billy; you deserved better) and initially after Cameron Mathison appeared. Now...now he's just gross and I don't like seeing him onscreen anymore.
On the other hand, the Nina and Willow scene was beautiful and I loved how Willow told her mom that she could always count on her. It made me so sad, too, when Nina mentioned that they were robbed of all of those mother/daughter experiences together. It made it even worse when you think about how Willow didn't have a happy, stable childhood because of Harmony. At least Willow has a mother now who will put her first instead of using her to gain favor from a predatory cult leader.

Another great chapter! The best parts of it—in my opinion—are all of the heart-to-heart advice moments, the first being Maxie's and Kristina's. I thought it was nice that Maxie was honest with her and explained why surrogacy is more of a sacrifice than Kristina probably believes it is. You do feel bonded with the child you carry, whether you're an egg donor or a traditional surrogate where the baby isn't biologically yours; you feel it move, you experience morning sickness and cravings and everything that's associated with pregnancy, and then you're expected to give up that baby to its parents. I hope that it gives Kristina more clarity so she isn't just thinking of it in terms of "I get to give my sister the baby she can't have."
Felicia sitting down with Esme and talking to her about how motherhood changes a girl was really nice, especially when you compare it to Esme's attempt to talk to Heather. Unlike with Heather, who made Esme tense and acts like she's the only one Esme can trust, Felicia encourages her to move past her mistakes and focus on being a good mother to Ace. There's a connection between the two of them and I like it.
I find it sad that Lily most likely won't survive her injuries because that leaves baby Scarlett orphaned, but judging by the way TJ and Molly act with her at the end, it gives me hope that they'll get to be parents whether or not Kristina goes through with the surrogacy.

Happy New Year, Chrissyfan. I had a lovely Christmas. It just goes by too fast. How was yours?
Yeah, I was really ticked. And I'll really flip if Carly gets Wiley and Amelia when Michael gets killed off. If she does, it'll really show the bias on the show. So, Alexis, who has been a constant in Danny and Scout's lives can't get custody but Jason and Drew can when they have not been constants in their lives. But if they allow Carly to get custody, sure she's been in their lives all along, BUT so has Willow, their MOTHER. So yeah, I will flip if Willow loses the kids to Carly while Drew and Jason get to hang onto Danny and Scout.
I saw one clip of Jason taking Danny to see the Corinthos family for Christmas. Don't ask me why I clicked on it, I know I shouldn't have :/ And I'm honestly annoyed with the Danny character. I get wanting your father to be in your life, but as soon as his mom died, wouldn't it have made more sense for him to want to be around the people who have been there for him all along instead of his absentee father? And in some scenes it felt like he was just soaking up time with Jason instead of grieving his mom. And why couldn't Jason have taken Danny to visit his grieving grandmother instead of mobsters who his dead mother didn't want him around? And I swear, Danny was gazing at Jason as if he was in love with him... not like he looked up to him, but that he was in love with him... it was super creepy. I miss the happy-go-Lucky-Kid-Danny that loved all of his family, not just his absentee father.
I hear you about Lucky. I really hated his scenes with Laura in the chapel when he first returned. Lucky was talking about how he abandoned Aiden, and Laura just held his hand and told him he had to live out his dream and ever since he could walk he longed for adventure, blah blah... Are you kidding me? This is insulting to kids who are abandoned by their fathers. They have serious struggles because of it. Even Spinelli told Jason that he didn't abandon Danny (I don't think Jake was brought up), and that it wasn't his fault that he left him. So sick of this.

I did see that Jason was moving into the mansion to be near Jake and so that the kids could stay together. I'm with you, I was hoping that Sam would name Dante as Danny and Scouts guardian because he really has been the most consistent father figure in their lives. Barring that then Scout and Danny go to Alexis.
I've basically stopped watching. I have no desire to see Jason and a haphazard father to Danny while Jake is off screen and doesn't get any time with him and apparently from what I read they are going with Elizabeth and Lucky as a pairing and I completely loathe Lucky Spencer. So I've stopped watching. I was really excited to see Becky/Elizabeth getting more screen time and a story where she gets a bit of a POV and it turns out it is all so she can hold Lucky's hand while he is back. I could rant for days.

Welcome back! This was an interesting look into these woman and their girls. I feel for Alexis, she so badly wants to stay where she has all of her girls and Sam is alive. Queen Lucy, yes, I think sometimes Lucy has fancied herself as Queen of all she surveys. She is very jealous and doesn't like to share Felicia.
Frankie is getting her own way, too much in the alternate reality and real world. Honestly I hope Felicia really has a good talk with her once she is feeling better.
I have no clue what is up with Nelle and Willow. Nelle seems to be the aggressor but honestly I wouldn't say that Willow would never retaliate if pushed too hard.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with for the next chapter.
Hope all is well for you and you had a good holiday if you celebrate.

Okay, I have to say this because I'm bitter: CHILLOW AND SPIXIE FOREVER! There, enough said.
I'm glad that Esme chose not to talk to Heather; even if Heather supposedly wants her to confide in her and be the mother she needs, I wouldn't trust anything that Heather would tell her as "advice." Ace being the reason why she broke out of her self-hatred is the sweetest thing ever and even when she had her evil personality, I think she genuinely cared about her baby. She and Nelle had that in common.
You would think that Felicia would be talking about Georgie when she was telling Scarlett about how much she reminded her of her own baby girl, but as with Maxie's suspicions, I have suspicions that she's not talking about Georgie.
I felt terrible for Scout when she was talking to Sam about Donna and Avery being mean to her. Even though I'm personally a Carly fan, I don't like how she can be sometimes and I especially didn't like how she judged Sam for not wanting Danny around Jason's mob life, especially after all of the accidents they'd witnessed because of Sonny's wars with other powerful people, like Cyrus Renault. Being a good mother means protecting her children from dangerous things and Sam was doing that.
I also found it highly disturbing how Donna has her barbie doll tell the other dolls that they were going to play a specific game or else the other dolls would "never see their family again." The girl needs some SERIOUS help or else she'll go a few steps further than threatening a bunch of dolls.

This is a really good first chapter and full of emotion. Everyone has their own struggles that the Christmas season is bringing up, but Esme and Willow broke my heart the most with theirs: Esme with her crying and remembering Ryan and the way he manipulated her (it makes me sick to my stomach to read about him patting the bed and motioning for her to come to him; no matter everything I know from our rp boards, it never not upsets me that Ryan would hurt her like that) and Willow and her belief that Nina's disappointed in her as a daughter.
On that note, Michael forcing Nina to stay away from Willow and the kids was just wrong on so many levels. Though I understand his side as being protective of his mother and uncle and angry on their behalf that someone would turn them in—in part because of spite—, he should have known better given his own troubled childhood in which both his mother and biological father were forced to stay away from him. It emotionally damaged him, so how could he want the same for his children? I do love Michael's character as well as Carly's, but when he does wrong, I'll call him on it and he most definitely is making all of the wrong calls here.
Overall, this is great so far and I'm glad that I have so many more chapters to read and review.

Wow so Lucy is related Santa Claus and created this world and just brought them over out of the real world like in another dimension. So now they have to learn some kind of lesson before they go back. But awe poor Alexis, because she thinks her daughter is dead in the real world so she doesn't want to leave her in this one even if Sam hates her in it. And awe is Willow in his world the bad one and Nelle gets blamed for it. And Frankie gets whatever she wants but still has bad tendencies even when she is raised by her mother and Mac. This was a good alternative reality chapter, kind of multiverse esque. It will be interesting to see how they can escape, Queen Lucy's world.
