I honestly don't get why they brought Ric, Lucky, and Jason back all at once, unless they're planning for all of them to pine after Elizabeth. Like you said, there aren't really any options for Jason's love life, at least that I can think of, so I don't know why they don't try for Liason. I love Spixie, but I guess Lucky/Maxie could be an option again. And I don't want a Rexis redo, but even that's an option. Jason's options are Elizabeth and blech Carly. So why not try Liason? I have read rumours in the past, but that's all they could be is just rumours, but that Rebecca Herbst has requested not to do Liason again because she was receiving death threats from Jasam fans (I've also read that Kelly got death threats too), so she doesn't want to stir up the fan wars and go through that again. I mean, maybe that's true? I've also heard rumours that Kelly refuses to do Jasam again, but more because how BM was treated when SB returned (again, rumours). But if both Becky and Kelly are refusing Liason and Jasam, it could be that the writers have been stuck and why they tried Jarly and now Jason/Anna, blech. Wow, did I just defend the writers? But tbh, I would choose them to try Jason/Lulu over Jason/Anna-please don't be mad at me lol. But Idk what his other options are.

Go get her Cam! Not that Joss will listen but it was nice to see Cam speak some home truths to her.
I don't blame Jake for being upset and he's right Elizabeth is a nurse not someone who likens herself to have played on a long time ago. Maybe Jason will get sepsis and finally have to turn to Elizabeth.
Speaking of the character of Jason, You pose a good question. Honestly, there is not any female character right now besides Elizabeth I can even picture as a pairing for Jason.
Jasam would be a retread and it flopped the last time. Carly #4 and Jason do not have the chemistry that Carly 1 and 2 had. Ava- no. Nina- no. Anna, even if there were chemistry, no. Although, I would like the idea of Jason moving toward the WSB and working with Anna. It would give SBu the action/adventure he doesn't seem to want to give up but moves the character in a direction away from being Sonny and Carly's fix-it man. Maxie and Lulu nope and nope. Alexis would just be a weird mother/daughter scenario that she has already done with Ric and Sonny, plus I don't see her purposefully hurting Sam. Am I missing anyone? Honestly I don't like any potential pairing even if Elizabeth wasn't on the show.
I think GV's lucky had a wider chemistry with his female counterparts than JJ. He also has a more mature look. I'm not a fan of either version but I did like GV's chemistry with Kelly. I just find no use for Lucky Spencer and would rather Elizabeth be single and fabulous than pigeon holed into another pairing that she is propping and supporting to only be dropped like a hot potato once the JJ gets his emmy winning material and does a peace out. Can't tell I'm so not into Lucky.
I too really liked Samtrick, think it was one of her better pairings. I could have gotten into Sam/Drew (BM's version) if they really played out as Sam and Drew but they connected when he and she thought he was Jason and I will forever be bitter than Elizabeth yet again got run over for Jasam with that unnecessary lie storyline. I did like GV's Lucky and Sam, though admittedly I first shipped them as a means to an end and they were away from Elizabeth and Jason. But, did come to see their chemistry and they were good for each other when it was about them and not one upping their former partners.

I liked Greg Vaughan's version of Lucky best. I think JJ played him well as a teenager, but I don't really buy him as adult Lucky. It's like they're trying to make him a mini Luke but failing miserably. GV's Lucky had his faults, but he would never abandon the boys. Even through his drug addiction he still loved Cameron and wanted to be in his life. And while I wanted to see Jason step up for Jake instead, Lucky loved and was there for Jake. So him leaving Cam, Jake, and Aiden to "find himself" isn't believable to me. Kind of like with Nikolas, I'm over his character. Though I think Lucky could be redeemed with good writing. But I don't see how they can fix Nikolas after he terrorized Spencer and slept with his girlfriend. That went way too far. Unless they say he was replaced with an imposter, I don't think I can ever root for him again. And his 180 of bringing Ace home to Laura and turning himself in, I don't buy. Ace probably threw tantrums on the road offscreen because a stranger took him from his mommy, so Nikolas didn't want to deal with that so that's why he returned. That's my head canon and I'm sticking to it. Ace might have seemed fine with Nikolas at Laura's because Spencer was there, then Laura was when they returned, but my head canon is saying he just thought it was someone fun to play with until he kidnapped him lol.
Sante isn't my favourite Sam pairing. Samtrick will always be my fave with Dream second (Billy Miller's Drew). I loved LuSam at the time, but as I've gotten older, I see they were only about sex and revenge, so I've lost my love for them over the years. They had loads of chemistry though and with better writing they would've been a super couple. I did love their scenes in Mexico though. At the end of their relationship it became about them instead of about revenge against Liason, until the writers flipped the script and made Lucky a jerk to put Jasam back together.
No arguments from me regarding Jason/Anna. JnR aren't even my favourite pairing (though I'd choose them before Jasam), but it's still all kinds of wrong because JnR have a lot of history together. Also since I'd like a Jake/Emma pairing if they should ever return. If Jason can't be with Elizabeth, who would you choose for him to be with looking at who's currently on the show?

I haven't been watching. I still look for Elizabeth clips but that may go by the wayside if they are going to pair her back up with Lucky. You already know how I feel about him, so no need to full out rant.
It's always about protecting Sonny and honestly I'm not surprised he is letting Alexis go through this alone. You'd think the least he could do is try and pin it on some unknown/day character to get her out of this. What happened to always protecting his multitude of baby mommas?
Whether I liked them or not, I agree that the Original Davis Girls had chemistry and gelled well as a unit.
I'm going to sound like a hypocrite, because you know I don't normally get too icked out by characters dating/marrying sibs or half sibs or in Sam and Dante's case shared sibs, but something about the idea of Jason and Anna kissing for any reason creeps me out and if they become a pairing just...gross. I don't need my JM channeling Sonny in the mother/daughter ickfest. Anna is technically old enough to be his mother, Finola has aged wonderfully but the fact still remains yuck. Although again I am bias because I still want Elizabeth and Jason to get the relationship they have been denied over the years.
If you choose to have Jason grow as a character in your story, I won't be upset at all. But, would understand if you kind of keep him as background filler.

Go cam! And go felicia! And hopefully alexis will be alright and nelle definitely have her own agenda. And I expect Joss will gotten pregnant with Spencer's baby.
As for show I'm not too crazy abt dante/sam pairing considering they share like 4 relatives which makes it too weird. And I always like dante/lulu pairing. And I'm liking recasts of molly and kristina.

Wow of course the judge would rule in Esme's favor and she is also on Nelle's payroll but the evidence did help it. But poor Esme is now in trouble for punching Spencer in a courtroom full of witnesses. At least Felicia could hold her back before she hit him again but I am glad that she went off on him and he deserved that punch and a whole lot more. Hopefully her punching Spencer won't be enough for the judge to overturn her ruling but I think it will be okay Spencer and Josslyn are in much more trouble anyways. I'm glad that Carly and Michael will be investigated, kind of upset that Willow will be too.
And of course Josslyn is also pregnant. Hopefully someone will take that child away from them too as her and Spencer aren't fit to raise a caterpillar.
Someone must have stolen Elizabeth's keycard and used it to swipe the medical supplies, that would be my only explanation.
I really hope Alexis is okay and Sam too. And what was Danny's fingerprints doing on the candle? I hope he didn't start the fire at Alexis's house. He seemed to run away from the Q mansion in either a hurry or under guilt. And he was the one that found and was nursing Jason back to health after let me guess he was shot. And of course Carly finding Jason would be her saving grace, even though he can't get her out of the mess that she made.

Okay, I for one am so glad that Nelle's evidence exposed the truth behind what happened that night of the shooting. Spencer and Josslyn don't deserve to take care of a fly let alone a child. And they ad 5 children in their care and couldn't even take their hands off of each other long enough to protect the children. I also loved Trina's testimony. Of course Spencer and Josslyn and Carly would think that Trina is lying and only there as revenge against them but she was telling the truth about how Spencer played everyone just to try to get his own way. And the judge better not put Ace's innocent little life in their hands ever again.
And awe Alexis, I hope that she'll be okay. But I'm glad that her and Sam both got to the hospital and the doctors will take good care of them and I am also glad that Kristina was still there too and that's good that TJ took Avery and Donna to Molly too.

I'm still not 100% sure what I'm going to do with Jason in my story. I have ideas for him. But I'm not sure if it'll be completely anti-Jason or if I'll have him grow. I mostly wanted him in it for Davis girls drama and even for Carly lol. But we'll see.
I have been watching more the last few weeks of the show and I caught up on some of the Davis girls/Danny/Scout scenes I've missed since I hadn't been watching regularly since Esme and Spencer left. But hearing about KeMo made me want to catch up on the Davis girls. So most of my thoughts will be about them. But I'll get to Jason/Anna, I promise.
I have to say that while I do miss Lexi and Haley, I do really like the recasts. They have chemistry with Nancy and Kelly. I don't like Lindsay Hartley as Sam though when she fills in. Kelly's made her character her own. And I love what they've done with Sam and Molly's characters. Both have really grown and while they're both unique, both are really channeling the old Alexis that had a back bone and stood up to the mob/protected her girls from the mob. Kristina has had moments, especially a few years ago when she spoke to Sam facts about her relationship with Jason. But she's not quite there, which makes sense since Sonny is her dad. But even outside of that she still makes a lot of bad choices and has a lot of growing up to do.
And I still think the surrogacy story was stupid, and I wish they'd apologize to Alexis who warned them in the beginning, but Alexis never really gets an apology or is told she was right (except maybe when Michael was shot and Carly told her she was right, but that didn't last). I enjoyed the funeral scenes. They were well done. Loved Molly confronting Sonny. And the Sonny shooting Jagger story is good drama and action, involving all the Davis girls. Though Sonny is a selfish coward not confessing and allowing Alexis to go to prison for him. Sure he hired her a lawyer but she wouldn't be there at all if he just took responsibility. Sam and Molly are trying to help Alexis. Alexis is protecting Kristina because she thinks the cops will accuse her. Michael stopped Kristina from coming clean that she stole Sonny's gun and that's the gun Alexis disposed of (because she thought Kristina was going to kill herself). But Jason destroyed the real gun. It really appalls me that everyone is covering for Sonny and allowing Alexis to go down for it. But I loved Sam going to Carly the other day begging her to help her mom (because Carly is Sonny's alibi, they're pretending they were making love in Tracy's bed when Sonny was really murdering Jagger at the Qs). And Sam called her out on never considering other people's families (meaning Danny, but by extension I think of Jake too) when she always has Jason at her beck and call, like now when she had him go find Lucky.
I'm just really sad about Kelly/Sam. Most spoilers I'm reading say she's going to be murdered :( I have a feeling Alexis will start drinking again after this. I kind of do want to see her completely lose it after this, but just for a short while. I'd like to see Alexis get custody of Danny and Scout since their fathers can't prioritize them. But I saw a rumour that Krissy and Molly will get custody of them and it'll bring them closer. At least they'd be with the Davis family. Although I'm not so sure Krissy is mature enough, but maybe it will push her to grow up.
Anyway, sorry. Jason/Anna. I'll admit I've been fast-forwarding most of those scenes. The Lucky parts are boring me and I'm mad that Jason left Danny again because Carly told him to look for Lucky (I would say Jake too but he's in college in Europe). But I did see that he kissed Anna. I don't know if it was part of an act or if it's real. Or if it's an act, maybe they'll still fall for each other. I don't like it one bit. It just feels so wrong. I know other characters have been with parent/child, but more than often I don't like it. I do like Sam/Dante, even though I know it's weird that they share two siblings and Dante is Sam's deceased daughter's brother. But I don't think Sonny/Sam should've happened at all. She's better with Dante than Sonny. If Dante was on the show sooner, I bet that he would've been Lila's father instead. But anyway, Jason/Anna feels so wrong because of the age thing and because of Robin. Those are my thoughts. What are yours?

Lots going on in this chapter and it was all great!
I understand Esme is justly angry but she needs to dial it back a bit. She was just awarded full custody of Ace and hitting people probably is not going to look so good, even it was well deserved.
Carly is still clueless and of course her first thought upon seeing Jason is he will fix everything for me.
Speaking of Jason, it seems that Jake and Danny may have been taking care of Jason. Given that Elizabeth's key card is missing along with drugs and Danny's fingerprints on a candle along with a blanket from Alexis' house in their possession. This is going to get interesting.
So I heard that Jason and Anna kissed. I haven't been watching, was it as ick filled as I think it would be?

Great chapter. I'm glad Esme got custody and that she got the chance to confront Spencer. Even if guns hadn't been involved, it was incredibly irresponsible for he and Joss to leave two infants alone with such young children for that long. Hopefully, Esme won't be in too much trouble for that well-deserved punch in the nose.
I shudder to think how a child growing up with Spencer and Joss will end up, especially with Carly's influence added on. The three of them are just completely delusional at this point.
It looks like Danny and Jake have been hiding an injured Jason. I think I have a pretty good idea about what happened to Elizabeth's keys.
It'll be interesting to find out what's going on with Jason and whether there's a connection to Alexis's attack. Of course, Carly thinks Jason only returned for her personal benefit and doesn't notice that he's injured. It would serve Carly right if Jason decided that he wasn't going to be at her beck and call anymore.

If have esme tear into Spencer and josslyn maybe cam and trina can hold her back before things gets out of hand? And nelle obviously has her own agenda here

Finally caught up. Great updates. I loved Trina being the surprise witness. Nelle is on a roll, not sure if that is good or bad but even a bribed judge has pretty compelling evidence to give Esme custody based on the what was shown. Now I wonder if Felicia and Esme will show what was found. What is going on with Alexis' house being on fire, hope she will be okay.

Wow, Spencer and Joss were delusional to think that Trina would automatically side with them after they betrayed her by getting married. It really speaks to Trina's character that she was not only concerned about Ace, but was willing to testify in favor of her former enemy.
Now that the truth about Spencer and Joss's neglect has come out, I'm really looking forward to everyone's reactions. Imagine if Donna and Avery had decided that Ace should have been Cyrus. I really hope Esme tears into them.
I'm not sure I understand Nelle's actions. It sounds like she has this fantasy of being a mother figure to Esme and saving her from the Corinthos/Cassadine toxicity. However, she's creating all this courtroom drama for no reason. Nelle could have shown that tape to the police or Nora and skipped the theatrics.
Nelle is completely right that Spencer and Joss shouldn't be anywhere near Ace, but she's just needlessly complicating the situation and possibly causing Esme problems down the line.
