Oh wow. Well, I do at least have an air conditioner, but just the portable hose kind and it doesn't work that great. It only reaches my bedroom, and even so, still not the greatest. So when I'm at home I've been hanging out in my room a lot. Today I was at the library all day and it has central air-what a luxury lol. But the school I work at doesn't have A/C, it only has a couple ceiling fans. I haven't been feeling the best the last few days, I'm assuming because of the heat and because I haven't been sleeping well. It's supposed to break tomorrow (I thought yesterday but now it's saying tomorrow), but if it continues on I might just go to the library or Tim Hortons or somewhere with central air in my free time with my laptop, because it's super uncomfortable in my apartment. If you can, I'd say invest in an A/C. I heard it's going to be like this throughout the summer and this is just the start.
I'm glad you're happy with the Liason scenes for the most part. It's not interesting me, but who knows, maybe that will change. I personally don't view Danny as Jason's golden child, imo that title goes to Michael. But yes, Danny definitely has gotten more Jason time than Jake. I've always compared the Sexis dynamic to the Liason dynamic. SonnyJason, AlexisElizabeth, MichaelMichael, MorganDanny, KristinaJake. Michael is Sonny and Jason's main focus, Morgan and Danny got a fair amount of their attention (but still not enough), meaning Kristina and Jake are the forgotten kids.

Very sweet bonding scenes between Felicia and Esme. In what universe is Nina responsible for Heather taking Willow hostage? Even Maxie blaming Esme for endangering James and Bailey in the previous chapter had a certain semi-logic to it. But Nina had absolutely nothing to do with that situation. What next? Carly and her kids blame Nina for the border crisis?

Been okay. Yeah this heat wave has been horrible. We don't have an A/C but I am seriously thinking about getting one. 90 in June isn't good. It just started cooling off this morning and I have windows and doors open and fans still going. Hubby has an oxygen concentrator and that thing is a heat making monster. It is in another room with the door closed but it is a small apartment so that only helped so much.
I haven't watch a whole episode in forever. I have watched the scenes with Jake and his friends and then Jake outting Finn to Elizabeth and then the Elizabeth/Jason scenes which were glorious. I hope maybe we can get a real Liason pairing but at this point I am just happy that the friendship is on its way to being back. *chuckles* my jaded mind was already thinking that Jason did what he did to protect Carly. So while I am still ticked off I am not shocked. I'm not sure how they will have Elizabeth react if she even finds out. I'm pretty sure she is used to the Carly first Mantra and won't blink an eye when it comes to herself but may give him an earful as it concerns Jake. But, I'm pretty sure Jake can do that himself if he chooses. Again, if he ever gets one on one time with his Dad. The show still favors Danny as the Golden child. I am glad that Mac is back and John J York is doing much better. Other than that I still have no interest in sitting through a whole episode. How are you coping with the heat?

How are you, Chrissyfan? We've had a huge heat wave here this week. It's been brutal. I'm already sensitive to the heat but this is awful. Other than that I'm doing okay.
The only thing on the show interesting me right now is the Scorpio family. With the exception of the odd Nina/Willow scene, I've only been watching the Scorpios. They even had a new Bailey Lou the other day. And Mac is back :)
I've watched a couple of the Nina/Willow scenes in the past, I think month. Like I said I haven't been watching episodes in full so I don't know the full context, but from what I can tell it seems like Willow is only giving Nina another chance because of Drew. And Nina wasn't even invited to Willow's birthday party but Drew planned it that Nina showed up by accident. Then Willow asked Michael if she should let Nina stay. He said it's up to her. So she invited her to stay. I swear, Willow can't think for herself. She acts like she can but she really can't. It doesn't leave me craving for more. The Scorpio scenes are leaving me wanting more though.
I haven't really been watching the Jason return scenes either, other than Jake seeing Finn at the bar with another woman and I think he called Jason for help. But I didn't see the full scenes. From what I've read it seems they're reviving Liason's friendship, BUT it was revealed the reason he's been gone and has made everyone think he is dead was to protect Carly. What the frick? Yeah so even without watching that just confirms what we've known all along: He loves Carly above all else, including his own sons.

Wow that was amazing. So many good parts in the chapter that I loved and it was very exciting and another cliffhanger. Awe I loved the interaction between Cody and Esme and if anyone is in a similar boat as Esme it is Cody and I'm glad when he told her that they need to stick together. Maxie on the other hand is being a stubborn goat, I get that she is worried about James and Bailey but like Felicia said it isn't Esme's fault. And Heather really is crazy to mistake Willow for Esme. I hope the social worker is okay but I'm kind of glad that it wasn't anyone major that got hurt. I just hope that Willow will be okay and that was a brilliant move to make sure both Wiley and Amelia were left at the restaurant and Willow had herself go with Heather. I can't wait to read more of this story.

I'm glad this story has been updated. I'm curious about how Maxie and Esme's relationship will develop. On the one hand, Maxie wants to set a good example for Georgie with regards to sibling relationships. On the other hand, I can see Maxie lashing out at Esme once she gets wind of the whole hostage situation and realizes that James and Bailey Lou are in danger.
I'd love to see Esme playing a role in taking Heather down. Like maybe she blames herself for Heather's actions and goes back to Bobbie's to try to convince Heather that she wants to leave with her.

Georgie is a very perceptive young lady, much like her namesake. I love that she asked Maxie some difficult questions. Carly needs to stay in her own lane and let Michael and Willow figure their relationship out. If she wants to go scorched earth it isn't as though Nina's bank account isn't on par with Carly's and can hire Willow her own shark of a lawyer if need be. I have to say Heather is keeping things interesting. Great update.

Yay, a new chapter and it did not disappoint. That was amazing. I'm so glad that Felicia got Esme and Ace back to her house before Heather showed up to take them. And I was really hoping that Mac and the police would get to Bobbie's before Heather got there but it looks like there is going to be hostage crisis now. I just hope everyone will be okay especially since there is a lot of kids in the restaurant at the time Heather showed up with a gun. I thought that it was a good conversation with Maxie and Georgie at home but now unwillingly little James and Bailey are in danger because of Heather Webber. And Carly warning Willow was kind of comical. If Willow wants to get to know her mother, Nina with the kids around she should be able too. Carly is just so controlling that it has to be her way or the highway and she's projecting those same beliefs on Josslyn as well. I really can't stand both of them. That was quite a cliffhanger and I can't wait to find out more in the next chapter and if Heather hurts anyone.

When you look back at when he and Esme first came to town, he led Trina on right away and was not honest about having a girlfriend. Then when he finally introduced Esme to them, I think Esme had valid reasons to be jealous of him around Trina. They kept going off and having secret conversations, etc. Spencer and even Josslyn did provoke Esme. I'd say back then only Trina and Cam were the innocent parties. Though since then Trina has been turning into a mini-Joss, very self-righteous and a b-word. But strictly speaking the events before Esme's amnesia, I'd say everyone was guilty in some way other than Cam and Trina, at least that's my opinion. Sorry to write so long again. Chrissyfan- Yes, I love the idea of Felicia/Esme as mother and daughter. I think it makes way more sense than Heather. Heather just seems so out of the blue, in relation to Ryan and she doesn't even seem like his type, other than the blonde hair. Plus, Felicia first left in 2003 around when Esme could've/would've been born. I saw the potential in Esme too, particularly when she had amnesia. To me it would've made more sense if that was her real personality since she had forgotten Ryan's influence on her, or at least a mix between the two personalities. And I do not believe that everything back then was Esme's fault. I see Nikolas as worse than her (to me he wasn't the real Nikolas. TC's Nikolas would never do those things to Spencer). And it was way too obvious to make her guilty for the cabin events, but it is what it is. And Spencer was just as guilty as Esme with the Ava stuff. Plus, Ryan was clearly abusing her physically, emotionally, and mentally onscreen, and possibly more.
Characters like Esme I love to write. There's so much meat and layers there to work with. I love character development and redemption, when done right. Don't get me wrong, I love other characters who are more obviously good, I just have more trouble figuring out what to write for them. In this story it's Felicia/Esme that I have the ideas and motivation for. I'm getting a little bored with the rest. Even the anti-Carly stuff, I'm starting to feel like I've overdone it, and I've loved writing her over the top and obnoxious in the past.

Lovely chapter. Particularly that last line with Felicia saying she and Mac will handle that. I am really coming to like Felicia and Esme as mother/daughter. I was never a fan of Esme on the show, if she had not been written into a corner, I saw her great potential. It is amazing how good writing can change one's perspective on a character.

Eeeek that chapter was the best one ever. Mama Bear officially got her youngest cub back and she isn't about to lose her again. I also loved Felicia's talk with Maxie. But that last scene in the dining room of Bobbie's was perfect. Esme got all of her answers, Felicia loves and wants her so much. She'll protect her baby and her grandson from that lunatic Heather. This mother/daughter duo has just took a gigantic step over Samlexis as my favorite. I still love Samlexis of course but Felicia and Esme are something special.
