That was an interesting chapter. From the looks of things, it seems like you're planning to set things up so that Mac is Esme's biological father. To be honest, doing that sounds like a cop out. I get that Mac and Esme need to connect at some point, but I think making them related would be a mistake. Not only would it make Felicia look like an idiot for not getting a paternity test done, but it would basically erase nearly 100 chapters of Esme struggling to come to terms with being the daughter of Ryan Chamberlain.
I can't wait to see what happens next with Nelle. Hopefully she gets caught before she does too much damage.

Oh my gosh another heartbreaking chapter. Especially when all 3 kids found out well 4 kids since Leo also found out. :'( :'( :"( I'm glad that Alexis was the one to tell Danny and Scout. And Dante and Olivia could tell Rocco. Those poor babies. :'(
Okay, I am glad that Sasha and Cody are cousins. I'm probably the only one but I didn't like them together. Something about them, just too forced and no chemistry. Oh wait it just hit me, if Sasha really were Robert's daughter she'd be allergic to calamine lotion too, ugh so Holly really did rig the test or had someone do it. Maybe Sasha will hook up with someone else before her and Cody find out the real truth one could only hope.
Wow Esme is allergic to the same thing that Robin, her kids, Mac, Robert and Cody are, that is a super coincidence unless Ryan really isn't her father and Mac really is? That is the twist isn't it? And awe poor Esme needs blood now. I hope Felicia can donate to her but I have a feeling that it will be Mac who donates to her.

She also killed the guard and somehow got out of her handcuffs unless Nina got her out and she stole Sam's body? It makes total sense since she also had Ryan, Shiloh, Julian and Bobbie's bodies too and she is certifiably insane. Such a good chapter and it leaves so many unanswered questions.

Wow frisco is rly a piece of work when will he learn that felicia doesn't want him back? Maybe felicia should be blunt with him and tell him that to his face. And poor dante and alexis . Although I do have strong opinions abt wat they r doing to dante. And nelle rly piece of work too and glad maxie was able to make nelle and nina leave.

Whoa! I did not see Sam passing in your story coming. Maybe there will be a twist because I always like your version of Sam. Your version had all of the important to Sam's current life there.
Ugh, Jason. Of course Jake and Elizabeth put themselves on the line and once he is patched up, he is all welp, thanks, guess I should be going.
I like that Maxie protected Esme and Ace. Also, Nina at least got a glimpse of how not well or right Nelle is.
Speaking of Esme. Your writing for is very layered and complex because I can go from rooting for her to wanting to wring her neck in the same scene.
Frisco has lost the plot and he is going to be a pain in the butt. Mac did not steal Felicia and the girls, Frisco pretty much tossed them aside. Hopefully Maxie will give him a dose of reality because Georgie just is trying to be Georgie again and Esme dislikes Mac so much that I feel like she will gravitate toward Frisco because he isn't Mac and won't use any critical thinking.
Regarding Jasammers, you know how I feel about them. I think I can count on one hand the number of them, I've had really pleasant interactions with. As a Liz and Liason fan I totally get the anger and disappointment but in my experience as a collective fanbase they tend find pleasure in steam rolling over anyone who has an opinion that says they don't think Jasam was the end all/be all to GH and they aren't nice about it. If I didn't hate this version of Carly so much, the Jasam fan base would have me rooting for Jarly, simply out of spite. So it doesn't surprise me that they would come after you for simply not agreeing that Jason should have been there at the time of Sam's passing. He wasn't the man in her life at the moment and hadn't been the man in her life for years and they really didn't have much of a pairing when he was the man in her life on the last go around. I personally could have done without any reference to Jasam, period. But, I do accept that they had a history and were the overly promoted pairing and for yes, there deserves to be acknowledgement and probably a lot of flashbacks. If they minus the few I like, were not so mean, nasty and entitled I could have whole heartedly agreed that they deserved that time and closure for their pairing, any fanbase deserves that. But alas, mean, nasty and entitled doesn't pull much empathy from me. All that said, as a collective whole, I do have empathy for Sam fans, what happened just stinks and Kelly seems very sweet and humble and I highly doubt that she did anything behind the scenes to be summarily dismissed in the manner she was.

Awe my heart keeps breaking for Georgie and all the time that she lost and lost with her family and can't get back. That's so sweet that she loves that her mom and Mac got married again. Awe I love that Mac wants to renew vows with Felicia so that both Esme and Georgie can be there this time. But I'm also with Felicia and don't think that it is the right time to talk about it, I love the gesture but they have to get through the current crisis first and they will they are strong together and united. I don't trust Frisco and of course he's going to be the one to try to drive the wedge further between Esme and Mac and he probably thinks if he can get Esme on his side it is the first step to getting Felicia back.
I loved that Maxie threw Nelle out of Esme's room and she defended Esme and it was awesome and I love that Nelle was finally arrested when she got back to her room and of course she would still spin it that she's a victim no she's a murderer and the police won't be her story.
I loved Felicia and Esme's conversation and awe Esme wants to be back with her mom and poor Felicia that she has to set boundaries in their house so that Mac will be kept away from Esme that makes me sad because he is truly a good guy. And I'm hoping that maybe when Georgie is a little stronger she can help Esme see just how great a guy Mac is and she can also tell her that she barely knows Frisco, her biological father but that Mac has always been there for her, her whole life. And awe poor Esme that she has to have surgery on her broken leg but she has her mom with her now to take care of her and Ace, they are both back where they both belong.
Of course Jason bot is going to run off to Carly's, that is what he does best. Now his son will need him more than ever and he'll be on the run and hiding out at Carly's. Oh well Dante is the much better father figure to Danny anyday.
Awe Dante asked Sam to marry him that was the best. And oh no I just knew something was going to be up when Alexis was in talking with Sam, but noooo Sam can't be dead. This part broke my heart to bits and I felt every bit of pain that Alexis and Dante are going through. Not to mention those poor babies, I hope Alexis and Dante will be the ones to tell them. This isn't right, I hope maybe someone will be holding Sam somewhere and she's really in a deep coma, but if she is dead then Nelle really will have to face murder but I hope she's not somehow. S- I think you're right. I think it just bothers me that they have appeased the Jasam fans for so long through the years. Maybe not recently, but for many, many years they would while ignoring other fanbases. They do have a big fanbase, but other fanbases are big too. I think the only reason they get heard over others is because of how loud and demanding they are and they have always been vocal on the Internet (NOT every Jasam fan. I have met many very kind Jasammers. I'm just referring to a large group of the Jasam fanbase). And just because someone is loud and demanding, doesn't mean they should get what they want, especially when it sends terrible messages to people. Jasam have always been a toxic couple. Right from 2006 Alexis had very legitimate concerns and they made her look bad for it. She's not the only one who has gotten beaten on to pump up the mob characters (AJ, Jax, all the Qs, Nina, etc.) There are so many people who are tired of the mob and the constant right is wrong, wrong is right narrative. I wouldn't even mind aspects of the mob if they were shown as the villains and the cops shown as the good guys, with a little room for grey areas but not the way it's been portrayed.
Even though the Sam character has been back burnered a bit in recent years, her character has gone through a lot of growth. And I believe it has been Alexis' influence on her through the years and watching the affects of growing up in the mob has had on Michael, Kristina, and Morgan (Kristina was spared some of it, but not enough and it has clearly affected her). People like to blame Alexis for Kristina's behaviour, but I say it's because of Sonny. So I hate Jason just showing up last second during a crisis to be there for Danny when he'll just take off again when Sonny or Carly calls. I would love for Jason to grow up and be there for his kids, but I don't think he can fully do that unless he gets out of the mob and starts saying NO to Sonny and Carly. I don't even want to see him with a love interest again until he can put his sons first, and that's not just showing up during a crisis, but for the day-to-day things. It's hard since Jake isn't here anymore, but it doesn't mean throwing money at him, that means communicating with Jake and making regular trips to Barcelona with all the illegal money he's accumulated. Obviously if the Jake actor isn't available this would be offscreen, but Jason can talk about it in the script. And it means checking in on Danny regularly and proving to him that he'll be there for him.

Someone told me I'm insane and slow because I didn't think Jason should've had half an episode and a full exclusive montage. Another told me I'm annoying lol. Throwing insults at the commentor instead of just discussing characters and storylines.

jrchandlerfan1, I was reading your comments about Jason being inserted into Sam's death scenes and think TPTB did the Jasam flashbacks to appease the Jasam fans who, I believe, have been pretty vocal about their feelings about KM's firing. Sure, it was her most popular pairing, but I watched Sam's last scene with Drew and Jason together in which they barely interacted (and, as you said, Sam didn't even hug Jason), so the fact that he had a goodbye scene with flashbacks was an odd choice to me. I didn't bother watching it, but, again, I figured it was for the Jasam fans to get some closure.

The other thing I wanted to add, is comparing it to Jake's "death", I wish Alexis said something along the lines of what Elizabeth told Jason. That he made his choices and it's Alexis, the kids, Krissy, Molly, Lucas, Dante, Rocco who will have the hole in their hearts now. Because nothing has really changed for Jason's life because of Sam's death. He could feel regret and sadness for Sam's family (particularly Danny), but he himself hasn't lost anything. He's still Sonny and Carly's puppet and his chosen family is in tact (minus Morgan, but you catch my drift). He deserved Alexis' anger more than Lucas did. But I know Alexis wasn't thinking straight.

Chrissyfan- Oh man, where do I start? My Samlexis heart is breaking :( But I actually loved NLG's scenes. As heart wrenching as it was, I feel like the Samlexis story came full circle in yesterday's scenes. I was balling like a baby. Alexis is falling apart. She was so in denial at first. How she demanded Portia bring Sam a blanket because her body was cold, then she held her baby. Alexis just expanded more on the details of Sam's birth that were first revealed in 2006 and how much pain she went through having to give her up. And I love how she compared leaving her at the hospital now/them taking Sam away from her to when she had to leave her as a baby/her father took Sam away from her. And how she got mad at God for taking her from her :( I was actually really pleased with her scenes as a Samlexis fan.
But then I got super angry when Jason went to see her body. Like I was so worked up and had to calm down last night. Something wrong with me, I guess lol. I just get so passionate about it.
I KNEW that they were going to make this about Jason. They better do another montage for the people that have actually been there for Sam all along and who have put her first. I can't believe they did a montage exclusively about Jasam. Okay, yes, I actually can believe it, but I'm not happy about it. And that song... ugh I hate their song. At the very least, they could've shown a Samlexis montage too when Alexis was holding her body. I was hoping to never hear it again. If Jason wanted to make himself useful, he should've called Dante and even Drew to inform them. I don't think he should be the one to tell Krissy and Molly, but he could've called them to tell them they should come to the hospital. If he did love Sam (and Danny) he would've apologized instead of just talking about how good they were (not) together in the past. And he would've vowed to make it up by honouring Sam's wishes and start putting Danny (and Jake for that matter) first by giving up his life of crime and by stopping making Sonny and Carly his priority. He was quick to comment on Sam's love of adventure, etc but left out the fact that she gave that up, sacrificed it for her children. He should've vowed to follow in her footsteps (Elizabeth's too, but this comment is about Sam) and to become a better example for his sons.
I didn't mind the Liason scenes. That should've been efficient for Jason's POV. He could've hung around until Dante or someone else arrived so Alexis wasn't alone, but then he should've gone to focus on Danny. He shouldn't have gone to Sam's room. It just seemed inappropriate when Sam's feelings towards him has changed. And none of Sam's scenes before she died showed any inkling that she still had feelings for Jason. She met up with Jason and Drew together before her surgery, but that was as the fathers of her children, not former lovers. And she only hugged Drew, not Jason.
I agree about Kristina and Molly. Being at odds for like two days does not negate the years of the Davis sisters being there for each other. Just like Jason showing up for Sam and Danny last second doesn't negate the years of choosing Sonny and Carly over them (again, I could include Elizabeth and Jake in this, but right now it's about Sam).
I do love Lucas' role in this though. Just wish it was Ryan Carnes. But Sam has always been closer to Kristina and Molly than she was Lucas. I still want Lucas there, but Kristina and Molly should be more precedent. I felt bad for him when Alexis yelled at him-BUT loved it at the same time. Alexis is angry, just misguided but I don't blame her. She's a wreck right now which she should be.
I had one more thing to say about Jason but I have to get ready for work. Maybe I'll remember later. But yeah, I both loved and hated yesterday's scenes at the same time.

As heart wrenching as it was, I feel like the Samlexis story came full circle in yesterday's scenes. I was balling like a baby. Alexis is falling apart. She was so in denial at first. How she demanded Portia bring Sam a blanket because her body was cold, then she held her baby. Alexis just expanded more on the details of Sam's birth that were first revealed in 2006 and how much pain she went through having to give her up. And I love how she compared leaving her at the hospital now/them taking Sam away from her to when she had to leave her as a baby/her father took Sam away from her. And how she got mad at God for taking her from her :( I was actually really pleased with her scenes as a Samlexis fan.
But then I got super angry when Jason went to see her body. Like I was so worked up and had to calm down last night. Something wrong with me, I guess lol. I just get so passionate about it.
I KNEW that they were going to make this about Jason. They better do another montage for the people that have actually been there for Sam all along and who have put her first. I can't believe they did a montage exclusively about Jasam. Okay, yes, I actually can believe it, but I'm not happy about it. And that song... ugh I hate their song. At the very least, they could've shown a Samlexis montage too when Alexis was holding her body. I was hoping to never hear it again. If Jason wanted to make himself useful, he should've called Dante and even Drew to inform them. I don't think he should be the one to tell Krissy and Molly, but he could've called them to tell them they should come to the hospital. If he did love Sam (and Danny) he would've apologized instead of just talking about how good they were (not) together in the past. And he would've vowed to make it up by honouring Sam's wishes and start putting Danny (and Jake for that matter) first by giving up his life of crime and by stopping making Sonny and Carly his priority. He was quick to comment on Sam's love of adventure, etc but left out the fact that she gave that up, sacrificed it for her children. He should've vowed to follow in her footsteps (Elizabeth's too, but this comment is about Sam) and to become a better example for his sons.
I didn't mind the Liason scenes. That should've been efficient for Jason's POV. He could've hung around until Dante or someone else arrived so Alexis wasn't alone, but then he should've gone to focus on Danny. He shouldn't have gone to Sam's room. It just seemed inappropriate when Sam's feelings towards him has changed. And none of Sam's scenes before she died showed any inkling that she still had feelings for Jason. She met up with Jason and Drew together before her surgery, but that was as the fathers of her children, not former lovers. And she only hugged Drew, not Jason.
I agree about Kristina and Molly. Being at odds for like two days does not negate the years of the Davis sisters being there for each other. Just like Jason showing up for Sam and Danny last second doesn't negate the years of choosing Sonny and Carly over them (again, I could include Elizabeth and Jake in this, but right now it's about Sam).
I do love Lucas' role in this though. Just wish it was Ryan Carnes. But Sam has always been closer to Kristina and Molly than she was Lucas. I still want Lucas there, but Kristina and Molly should be more precedent. I felt bad for him when Alexis yelled at him-BUT loved it at the same time. Alexis is angry, just misguided but I don't blame her. She's a wreck right now which she should be.
I had one more thing to say about Jason but I have to get ready for work. Maybe I'll remember later. But yeah, I both loved and hated yesterday's scenes at the same time.

S- Thank you for the review. I thought you were that other Guest lol. But cool to know another Guest reviews sometimes. I know I have one Guest who reviews regularly and is an Esme fan. But hard to distinguish sometimes when they don't have a unique username. But I always appreciate the reviews- They motivate me.
I plan to show more of Nina's POV. I'm channeling how she was when Nelle died. She feels guilty and doesn't want to believe Nelle is capable of those things. She's going to spiral a bit, but I promise she'll see through Nelle. But she'll still want to help her (or at least try to) because she loves her.

I've been catching up and have to say that I agree with Guest's comment about Nina being different mothers to each of her daughters. I understand her wanting a second chance with Nelle, but I find it hard to believe that she'd just take Nelle at her word, especially when she knows what Nelle is capable of (case in point, Wiley's custody case). I'm hoping that she won't be written as self-delusional as Carly's character in this story since I had liked her up until now.
Going back to the eventful night at Nelle's house - wow, that was quite a crazy ride! I recall commenting several chapters ago that I had hoped that Nelle would get revenge on Carly, but even I felt sorry for her being kidnapped, in labor, and restrained with her dead mother's body nearby. So did Nelle kill her husbands or just exhume their bodies somehow?
