I mostly agree with Anna. While I sympathize with Esme, she can't keep running away when she gets upset. Mac was harsh, but Mac was right. Felicia can't kick him out of his own house because she doesn't like how he defended and tried to protect her. Esme is definitely a victim, but she is also a master manipulator who learned from the best, and if Felicia gives in and makes her life all about Esme, all it does is teach her that her tactics work. If Felicia leaves Mac and/or Georgie for Esme again, she's probably only going to have Esme left.

So, it looks like Spencer is shifting his obsession with Ace onto his own child. I think there's going to be trouble in paradise if Spencer keeps hovering over Josslyn. But, at least Esme gets a break from Spencer's harassment. Spencer seriously needs therapy if he thinks that Esme has any interest in his baby, though.
I liked the meet-up with Felicia, Anna, and Lucy. It was nice to get confirmation that Emma really does like Esme. As for Felicia's dilemma, I don't think Felicia should do anything that will unnecessarily divide the family. At this point, I think Felicia needs to back off on trying to convince Esme to come home, as it will most likely just stress her out. IMO, Felicia should tell Esme that she loves her and wants her to come back to the family more than anything, but she can't force her to do that. Esme is an adult and Felicia will accept whatever decision Esme makes about her and Ace's lives.
If Esme does decide to come home, then I think Felicia should follow Holly's advice and let Mac and Esme work out their problems for themselves, with the understanding that being kicked out isn't an option.
What I'd really like to see are some scenes where Mac goes to Kevin for advice on dealing with Esme.

Great update! Interestingly, as much as I am irritated by Esme right now, I thoroughly enjoyed her interactions with Cam. I think she drops her guard a bit with him as well as he has a kind way of seeing through her bravado and yes even her BS and redirects her, without getting hackles up. I enjoy them together.
I think that Anna, Lucy and Holly all have some merit to their advice but honestly I kind of agree more with Anna. I get that Esme has not had a good childhood and has been through things that she shouldn't have but she is also responsible for another human being and to keep running away and taking Ace from one home to another when she does, isn't being the good mother she wants to be and I still feel like if Felicia were to ask Mac to live elsewhere or she gets a separate place for her, the girls and Ace, then Felicia is giving in to Esme's emotional blackmail and every time Esme wants what she wants and Felicia doesn't comply, then Esme runs away. But, Holly isn't wrong Esme and Mac need to work it out. Perhaps if Mac were in a position to come to Esme's rescue or stick up for her, she might see him in a different light, which could break the ice and they could actually talk and listen to each other.

Awe poor Alexis, I'm glad that she woke up but I'm sad that she developed pneumonia. But I can't wait to see scenes with her and each of her daughters especially Sam. and I know that Sam will find the proof that he needs to nail Shelly for what she did to Alexis and framing Danny.
I hope Spencer and Josslyn can just focus on their own baby but I know that would just be too easy. And I'm loving Cam and Esme's friendship right now. He is like the only one who turned the other cheek and gave Esme a chance. And poor Emma, I hope that she can reach out to Esme because she truly does like her and want to be her friend too and I think their friendship could also be a beautiful thing.
Awe poor Felicia, everyone giving her conflicting advice, so no wander why she would feel like she is back at square one. I like parts of everyone's advice, I think they all made really good points. I don't think she should kick Mac out because Georgie really needs him too and that wouldn't be fair to her either. But Esme isn't comfortable around him and she needs her mom more. I do agree with Lucy on the point that Felicia can't turn her back on Esme and I know that she wouldn't and that she does not want to lose her again. Holly did make good points too. I'm kind of leaning on Felicia getting another place just for her and Esme and Ace but that it will be close by the house so that she will still be around Mac and Georgie whenever they need her but it will give Esme space from Mac right now until she has the time to heal from her daddy issues and to see Mac as a good guy. But one downside to them having their own place, I don't want Frisco to swoop in and think he has another chance with Felicia because of the living arrangements he doesn't she would just be doing this for her youngest daughter and her grandson and she wouldn't not be abandoning Georgie as well.

I find it interesting that I'm getting mixed reactions to Esme. I think that's a good sign? I'm trying to give her lots of layers, and same with this storyline, so hopefully that's coming through and why I'm getting mixed reactions. And Felicia is going to be super torn over what to do.
Chrissyfan- Have you watched any of the show lately? I have lots to comment on. Sam is going to be Lulu's donor, so I'm guessing she'll die during the transplant, but I'm still not sure because there's still lots of rumours going around. Sam and Dante told the kids the other day. Rocco and Danny were happy but Scout was scared for her mom. They assured her Sam is going to be fine. But I have a feeling Scout is going to have trust issues now if this is how Sam dies :( She won't believe anyone's promises anymore.
Sam told her mom and sisters yesterday. Krissy and Molly were super annoying. They made it all about them and starting fighting over Irene again. Sam got upset and Alexis stood up for her saying that she's always there to support them, now they need to support her now. Sam stormed out mad. I have a feeling that was the last Davis girls scene :( I hope Alexis is furious with Krissy and Molly if that's the last time they see Sam. But at least it wasn't Alexis causing the drama and she stood up for Sam.
I'm a bit nervous for Monday. Sam is with Jason in the previews. I was kind of hoping he'd still be off looking for Lucky when she dies lol. But I read that she also goes to see Drew on Monday, so hopefully it won't be too bad and it'll be small. And hopefully she doesn't tell them she wants them to take Danny and Scout if anything happens to her. I want them to go to Alexis, not their fathers who can't put them first. And I just don't want them to make Sam's death all about Jason. But later in the week Jason is with Carly in the spoilers and Alexis is waiting for news on Sam, so hopefully it'll be okay. I just want the focus to be Alexis, her kids, her sisters, Lucas, and a bit with Dante, Rocco, Spinelli, and Maxie. I just dread that they made her scenes with her mom and sisters horrible to make her last good scene with Jason, blech. But it's Alexis who has been there for her all along, not Jason (not that I wanted him to be, I'm just making a point). I don't want them to last minute make Jason look wonderful in this like always, making him a Gary Stu. Rme.
I also found Holly/Sasha interesting. Came out of nowhere and I didn't know what to think of it at first, but I'm finding Holly hilarious.

Carly is unbelievable, Elizabeth can patch Jason up so Carly can let him get better with her, umm yeah, no. Go away Carly. I do suppose, she was at least smart enough to bring him to Elizabeth.
I feel for Georgie, Frisco popping now has to be super confusing. Glad he had some sort of epiphany. Too bad he didn't have it before she was kidnapped and presumed deceased.
Okay, Esme, Esme, Esme. I know and trust that at some point she is going to have some real character growth but right now, I just find her super annoying. I'm trying to decide how much of her behavior truly is just a super confused young woman who doesn't know which end is up versus someone who seems who has no problem being very manipulative when it suits her and I'm pretty certain that she knows she is being manipulative and Felicia has moved Heaven and Earth for this young lady and the way Esme is showing her appreciation is to run away when it gets a bit uncomfortable and she has no problem using emotional blackmail on Felicia. She isn't getting her way of Georgie and Mac being set out their own home so she is going to run away yet again.
Clearly this was a fantastic chapter because I am so irritated with Esme that I could rant for days. Maybe Elizabeth or Cameron can sit her down and really lay out some truths to her about how she needs to stop running away when it gets tough and give her mom a better side of her.

I am a complete idiot. I just realized I had Danny help bring Jason to Elizabeth's when he's supposed to be in jail LOL. I guess that's what happens when there's large gaps between writing chapters. I edited it. Only Jake and Carly brought Jason there. My apologies.

Great chapter. I'm liking this conflict between Mac and Esme. I get the feeling that Esme will do something that will force Mac to leave, at least temporarily. And, of course, Nelle is a factor too. There's no telling what she would do in the name of "friendship".

I knew the reason why Esme wanted to move out was going to be because of Mac now. Felicia will never give up on her daughter and will fight tooth and nail to do anything for her and Georgie and Maxie. They'll get through this but poor Esme has been through so much in her young life and has definite trust issues of men because of Ryan and Mr. Prince. And now with Nelle still trying to worm her way into Esme's life, Nelle is a true psychopath and a viper. And now she even wants to be a mother figure to Sam and Lucas too, oh give me break. It is rather humorous too. And wow it does seem like she was behind the idea of Shelly setting Alexis's house on fire because she wants to get rid of Alexis. But thank goodness that Alexis finally woke up. I can't wait to see the reuniting Davis girls scenes at the hospital.
Wow Elizabeth really does have a very full house. And double wow of course they would bring the injured Jason to Elizabeth's house. But Jason has the way of bringing danger everywhere he goes and now inadvertantly he will put Elizabeth, Cameron, Jake, Aiden, Violet and now Esme and Ace in danger just by his presence. And of course Carly had to be right there as well.
I do not trust Frisco as far as I can throw him. It's too much too late. I'm with Georgie, why hasn't he made a bigger effort to see her when she was growing up. Seeing her once as a baby doesn't qualify for the role of being a father and that role is already taken for her with Mac. And now he gives her a present like he's trying to buy her off or something or feels guilty for not being there for her.

Great chapter. I liked the talk Felicia had with Mac. He's a good guy, but it sounds like he's gotten pretty complacent when it comes to stepfathering. Helping to raise children from infancy in a loving environment is a far cry from building a relationship with a traumatized young adult who barely knows you. And to add to the complication, Frisco is back.
I hate how Willow feels like she needs Michael's permission to see her own children. That just shows how damaged their relationship is.
This vendetta that Shelly has against Danny is interesting.

Awe I'm so glad that Felicia went to bat for Esme to Mac. She's right on all accounts he can show grace to Esme just like he did for Maxie and Georgie and still does. And awe of course Esme would think that Mac is trying to replace her father even though Ryan was a terrible father to her but he still was her father and just like Nelle is trying to replace Felicia as her mother so I don't blame her for responding strongly to that and leaving their home but to uproot Ace again, can't be the best solution. The best solution is for them to stay with the Scorpios.
Awe as heartbreaking as it is seeing Willow turn down living with Nina again, I can see her point because she doesn't know how Michael will react to that. And since he is allowing both Willow and Nina back into Wiley and Amelia's lives Willow doesn't want to do anything to jeopardize her relationship with her children.
There's the reason why Shelly hates Sam because she blames her for Danny, their brother's death and for her taking him away from her. So she burns down Sam's mother's house and frames Sam's son for it. How vindictive can one person be. And awe well so Nelle does acknowledge that Sam is also her step daughter from her marriage with Julian.
Awe I'm glad that Felicia found Esme again before her and Ace left. I hope that she can talk to her again just the two of them and maybe Esme can open up to her about where she went and that it was to confront Nelle. And oh boy Frisco makes an appearance again. I am glad that it wasn't Nelle in the car but I don't trust Frisco either tbh.
