Sorry, math was off. Thought there were only 4 main regiments, but there are 5

Did a little math for the all the equipment and it is just shy of 2 regiments of mechs and 3 regiments of vehicles (4 if the APCs are included)
The number of mechs could give each of the Dragoons four main regiments an additional battalion with a command lance, an additional company for Zeta, and an early birth for the Black Widow Battalion, and have a few mechs leftover for Blackwell's defense unit. This is if they can find the MechWarriors and officers to form said units, as well as transportation.

That was an INSANE amount of firepower pulled out ... and they left things behind. I think you got Cranston Snord's very specific form of Insanity down-pat, though I'm not sure about anyone finding Nondi Steiner attractive... then again, it's Cranston Snord.
Still, when the clans DO come, that's a major amount of extra firepower that the Irregulars, the Hounds, and the AFFC will have at their disposal to reinforce the line.
All of this is making me pullout dust-covered paperbacks to re-read... so you and Drakensis succeeded in that much at least. (Feel bad for all the youngsters, some of this stuff may no longer be in print, so they are stuck going by whatever they can find on Sarna . net)

Well, it didn't feel rushed to me and i thoroughly enjoyed it... as always. It would be fun to see the Caveman's reaction to the final tally of the haul. I mean... he gets a small commission, right? At least some Armor to drive around base?

I keep expecting a line that sounds like it came from a potboiler: "I looked up and death walked into the room, red haired, long-legged and more dangerous than a Naval PPC." I mean hell, Tasha is 100% alive and kicking in this timeline. I'm honestly surprised she hasn't taken more than a passing interest in 'The Caveman.' Still Natasha was reputedly was always going from fight to fight after 3015 so maybe the news hasn't caught up to her.
Still love her interactions with the Bounty Hunter in the Battletech video game. Something I thought they handled to perfection in the Heavy Metal flashpoint.

That was a rather complex... and varied... chapter. From fencing words with The Fox... planning action on Helm... to good old BBQ. Lol I loved it.

Enjoyable, as always, but a few questions, if I may.
1. Are you going to set up a way for Patrick Kell to be saved? I know this one could cause a large butterfly as it were, but I am interested if you are going to include a way for him to actually meet his son.
2. Dechan Fraser, may have the spelling off on the last name, but will you have him and Jeanette Rand stay with the Dragoons this time? His training and leadership, along with his partner, were actually a large portion of getting the new members of the Ryuken and Genyosha up to the standards needed to hold off the FedCom in the war of '39. Keeping them with the Dragoons and not doing the spy thing would both hurt the Combine and help the Dragoons, and not give Dechan the feeling of abandonment due to the extreme lack of contact they had in the original time line. Keeping him tight with the Dragoons may help more than anything, especially getting some better leadership in Gamma battalion Kantov led.
3. Odessa, one of the hidden five that is an occupied Star system, that built warships and DropShips for the Blakist. With it being in Lyran space, it should be relatively easy to find. It was probably in a Jihad source book as there is mention of the Fisk family being in their pocket

As this story progresses, I'm enjoying it more and more. It definitely fills the gap with Copeland being complete. Thanks!

Great chapter, thank you! I'm surprised our Man out of time hasn't mentioned the words 'Wolverines' or 'New Circe' yet.

Uhm did you mean to use Melissa Steiner in to black box comments? Were those not found by Katrina Steiner and Arthur Luvon while they were hiding from Alassandro's hitmen
