Hope he doesnt go acting all high and mighty when he is getting divorced.
His wife maybe framed as a bad person, but he isn't a good person either.
And Bella isn't an innocent little girl. She knows exactly what she is doing to the family.
Edward deserves whatever his father does to him too. Edward has shown himself to be the kind of man who doesn't allow himself to be dominated or controlled. He was not forced into marriage. He chose it for himself, love or otherwise. He took the coward's way out, then blamed everyone instead of taking responsibility.
He'll probably blame Bella for being underage when he learns how old she is. He could have asked her age. He should have, unless this story is taking place in 1824.

He claims not want money and prestige, yet here he is.
He isn't the little bunny, yet he can't cut himself loose?
He isn't the victim he portrays himself to be. If Vera is bad a mother as he claims he would get custody of his son... or will that not match the lifestyle he wants to live because sex means more to him than anything else in the world?

Anyone who decides to cheat on a spouse, failing marriage or not, is an asshole.
