Usually it takes me a chapter or two before I fully commit to a story, but you've managed to make me want to follow this one with only one chapter! I can't wait to see what happens next!

I do hope in the hidden sith army in carbonite stasis is Lana Beniko. It's hilarious seeing a level headed Sith messing with Jedi, just for her own amusement. Afterall most jedi have a hard time handling a calm sith, who maybe calmer than many jedi. Also her ofter working with the Jedi and Republic. I could see her acting as the Sith's diplomatic representative to the Jedi Order and the Republic.

Con lo bien informado que estas de lore tanto de Canon como de Legends
Por que a veces hay muchos autores que o no estan tan bien informados o apenas usan un conocimiento que se podria considerar bastante superficial pero no muy informado
a diferencia de algunos autores como tu que si que se informan sobre el lore y terminologia
de las series de las que escriben y crean ideas y conceptos entretenidos a partir de eso
Yo tengo algunas ideas que aunque desde cierta perspectiva supongo que se podrian considerar mi opinion personal creo que en general son ideas que a muchos les podrian gustar
y que a diferencia de conceptos como Izuku Midoriya 1 Villano o de Crossover como My Hero Academia x Bendy no deberian ser ideas desagradables o que no tengan mucha coherencia y que de alguna forma debieran incomodar o perturbar o desagradar a alguien

Of course, a few not-so-subtle traps on the planet like a large H-bomb buried under the duelling grounds (The Hutts would gleefully sacrifice all their pawns to get Cain, I think?) might be an option they'd consider.
I'm looking forward to seeing Sulla and her merry band in action again - I wonder if any of the new Volunteers have impressed her enough to be picked for this trip?
(I had a strange mental crossover with Cain and the Pokemon world - there's an otherwise low-powered pokey-thing called PsyDuck that has headaches so terrible other people can feel them. With Cain, it's terror. Shame he has to feel it first...)

Eh, the justification is weak, but from a writer standpoint, you haven't shown Cain with his back to the wall. Per the story anyway. Him going ham on the trap will be a good way to show that early. That and it is more good will. Seems obvious that the jedi with him are going to be joining on a more permanent basis, and rescuing people is a good way to get them on board.
From an in universe standpoint, Cain was tortured by Erebus, hates his guts, and makes it clear enough that there are no misunderstandings there. Everyone knows he hates Erebus and everything that reminds him of Erebus. It will add a bit of a wrinkle to the view of the Sith, when the current Sith lord appears to fly off the handle when someone reminds him of Erebus. Erebus was much more of the typical Sith, just taken up to 20. That Yoda knows it is more or less sheer trauma driving him, and an operation to save kids will make him look far more favorably on any dark side shenanigans Cain gets up to.

Personally I’m wondering when some of the huts realize that can’t win and decide to take as many of their slaves and richest to try and colonize a system deep in the outer rim and far away from the sith. Something not a lot of people realize is that the hutts are very pragmatic so the moment the idea that they could lose spreads the weaker and smaller hutt clans will take all there assets and head for the unknown regions.

I think I know Cain’s plan: hostages should be in most secure place, hutts value themselves most of all so hutt leader should be in this most secure place too, so his best troops will be insurance - capture hutt and stop trap from working if Force will not help him stop it from working from his place.
As a sidenote, Anakin getting a friend, especially his-age-girl friend will give a Palpatine another fit - damned cain trying to seduce my chosen one, reee. Poor old man.

Anakin and Asajj meeting early in the timeline and becoming friends... that isn't something one sees very much and I am very interested in seeing how this goes later. Also very much looking forward to the Hutts learning why you don't piss off Sith Lords, especially the nice ones. Happy May the 4th!

Man, a year already?! How the time flies. This chapter was awesome, got some nice moments with Anakin and Assaj (potential ship?) as well as Cain being Cain. I wonder who the secret army awaiting Cain is lead by. The anticipation is almost palpable. On that note, I wonder if they'll head back to Perlia, or head for Rattatak, taking everyone by surprise. Either way, would be awesome. And Dooku is leading a strike force?! What fun, this war is turning out to be quite the treat.
