It has return good chapter and I like the characterizations, they are pretty good. Also Jaune's dad being a dick hope that get's fixed mostly on his father's part because he started it.

It is one of the best I have read that is based on the RWBY universe, the premise you are showing in this story is quite refreshing it takes a completely different twist from traditional RWBY fanfiction but I am concerned that you have taken too long to update at least update a short chapter of the reactions of the other characters: general ironwood, the schnee family, the Nikos family, also the vale council and Salem, a chapter of the reactions of alla never mind that is a cheap resource that many authors use, just keep this story going.

I am curious about Jaune’s “semblance”. Will he still unlock Aura amplification down the line or is this his actual semblance here? I feel like “beast” is something seperate from since it has it’s own thoughts.
Makes you wonder if the brothers are somehow involved.
Personally, I would like Jaune to make use of his cannon semblance and improve with his own skillset, even if only somewhat. Whatever the beast is, I do hope he is not completely reliant on it.

would be a nice plot point if Emerald is a resident of Arcadia and is Jaune's secret bodyguard.
they all thought he was powerless before, so having someone look after his safety and well-being would be a no-brainer for the de facto ruling families only son.

I have to say this has hella potential as a story read both chapters and so far is was Great, Jaune like Yuta elements from HxH, probably some more in the future. Feels kinda bad for Jaune, the expectations are whooping his ass and it's he needs some confidence but he ain't ever gonna get none if his father a dick like that cause damn that was quite cold to say it in front his son's face. Going into the favorites this shit gas so far.
