I think i figured out exacty what the issue is in the writing. It's the whole mediator bit. It quite simply does not fit the character of Jaune Arc in any way shape or form. That by itself is not the end of the world.
What is, is that instead of developing some reasons as to why he is in this role and how he gained or had the skills neceesary for it, you just gave it to him. It made things feel forced but not enough to be immediately immersion breaking.

I like the concept a lot but it feels like something is missing with the opening of this fic to raise it from some plot points being hit into a story that flows and is fully readable. I find myself asking questions about beleiveability when reading this along with a fair amount of choppiness when it comes to Jaunes character in this.

man such a perfect ending of a story with no end... it just keeps going.
i know this might be late for me to say this but, through ups and downs of this fic, i saw it though pale-gray tinted glasses. even though the "less schizo" parts of the fic. i knew you had to do it. the voices was integral, but made it seem "unreadable" to some. but i appreciated it everytime it came up. i reveled in it. i loved it.
some dont, some abhorred it. others want the alcohol gone. party poopers all of them.
That ain't Disco.
throughout all of my reviews, especially on the early chapters, you made adjustments and nods per future chapters for me and probably some of the reviewers that understood the way things work. it was special. it was great. i felt appreciated.

If this is the ending I will admit I’m slightly disappointed with how it ended but to be honest anymore would really just feel like extra jaune returning and being the mediator that he always is as his final act as to say and then walking off with winter is in my opinion a great way to end the story overall i loved the story and thank you for providing me something great to read
