Good work here in this chapter. Not too much going on here, but I am interested in your idea of having Pansy have more of a presence in this and become a semi-official member of the group or something like that. After all, most fanfics tend to have her paired with Draco and she’s often seen as a constant annoyance/loyal hound at Draco’s heels. So it would be nice to see what changes such a thing could have on her.

See no, I didn't think you would have Draco try to become a member of the quidditch team but then you did now not them. Can have repercussions that come later. We don't know. Maybe maybe not. It's hard to say depends on what's needed. We'll see how that goes. Then you have the interactions with Luna and I kind of like those. I kind of like where that's going. You know with her and James. Maybe it's just me, but it just seems some cute and nice. Then there's how you're dealing with the actual things that are going on between what's going on with Jenny and then how people are reacting to what the main scene is. And obviously you know with Harry being in soldier is going to change Snape's reaction so you know that's understandable. Anyway, I'm glad to be able to read more and I hope classes are going well and not overwhelming you. You keep up the good work.

Something I thought about recently, and I'm not sure you ever closed this. But as someone who never read the original, did you ever think about what role Marge Dursley could play here? She was never a major character, but I do think you opened a door here for potential for her by killing off her brother.

Good work! Enjoyed this. Ooh boy…the you-know-what is out and preying on whomever Tom wants it to get! Not good. But I digress. As I said, this chapter was enjoyable and I really approved at how James handled Luna’s bullies. Serves them right. In fact, I can only guess that the one who got boils was Marietta like in the fifth book when she had revealed to a certain pink toad about the DA? Also, depending on how things go, perhaps when/if Hermione and Ron use the polyjuice potion to investigate the Slytherin Dorm, there could be potential Ron bashing for that if you’re interested? I’m certain that James and Harry would easily be able to spot the discrepancies between the personalities on whom they try to impersonate. Does James know Legilimency? That may also be something he can use against them during their attempted break-in. He could use passive insults to rile Ron up and make them inadvertently reveal themselves.
But yeah. Merely suggestions and stuff. Whether or not you choose to use it is up to you and what you’ve planned already.
