Oh boy. I feel so badly for Bella. I have a feeling she may know that Alice and Rose are right about her always waiting for Edward and him never being around much, even when he says he will. If she doesn't, I think its about to hit her. Hard. I know she's holding out hope that if he missed the ferry he will drive, but will he? And if not, I am wondering if this might be the last straw for her. That is unless he makes her a priority in his life. I am so down for this and I can't wait to see how it all plays out. Loved it and can't wait for the next chapter!

Wow, promising as always. So, I guess this is a Bella 2119 story? I'm all in, I'm not exactly a spring chicken myself. Or am I jumping to conclusions? Maybe the present is at the end of the story, and the story covers the events that lead to that point? I just assumed that the run-in was in the present. The possibilities!
Anyway, when it comes to you, I always have very high expectations, and I'm looking forward to this one, too.

Looks like there may have been some heartbreak along the way and there will need to be a lot of work and effort ahead. Nineteen years ago - so they’re all 40ish now and in very different stages of life a different people too, I would imagine.
We can’t tell from this what type of relationship Edward and Bella had, but it’s obvious her friends think he’s not loving or respecting on our girl enough and she’s given him a pass for that to happen. I’ll be interested to see how you bring them back together and how things go second time around.
I’m guessing the dark hair and eyes may have come from Charlie, if so it looks like he may have gotten his second chance too!
