I like the early one sided reveal! It makes sense for Adrien to find out because I really don’t know how the story would progress beyond them becoming casual friends otherwise. Adrien is more self conscious and aware than ever, so without a reason, I don’t think he’s the type to push for any presence in Marinette’s life. Marinette no longer has any motivation and even if she did, I don’t see her being in any kind of mental state capable of friendship or relationship.
