Huh. That’s one convincing illusion. Loved the “jury of ghosts” line; wonder if any of them will make an appearance~ Danny co-opting magic formulae into Math is a great bit of worldbuilding as well. [True Strike] being used in sports… can be a slippery slope. Fixing damaged homework isnone thing, but cheating flat-out can easily backfire in traditional Nickelodeon fashion…

Surely, with Stolas as a teacher, Danny's grades must be among the highest in the school, knowing that one of Octavia's obligatory friends, whom he met at the party, surely challenges him to duels frequently. Danny must also be in good physical shape and may even have asked his mother to train him in the art of combat. Now that he is demonstrating his mastery of magic, he will be ready when he receives his ghostly powers and has to protect his city in the future.
The most important point of the story will be the duel between Danny and the King of Ghosts, where Danny would obtain the title of prince, being the candidate to become the next King of Ghosts, the future ruler of the Phantom/Limbo Zone, which would grant him a position similar to Lucifer, the ruler of Hell.
That said, the union of Danny and Octavia could be seen as an alliance between Hell and the Phantom/Limbo Zone, so there could be some in Heaven who might want to attack Octavia to prevent this alliance, so it would be safer for Octavia to start living in the human world when that happens.

Hopefully Danny knows not to rely on magic too much, or at least use it to get Dash caught legitimately through misdirection. Need more cute moments before the action takes off.
If this was a DND party my theory is Danny warlock(fighter multi eventually), Octavia sorcerer, Tucker artificer, (if she joins) Sam ranger
