I've always found the Lannisters to be petty and spiteful for refusing to return Red Rain to the Reynes all because a Lannister managed to lose Brightroar in the ruins of Valyria. This act of returning Red Rain gives the Targaryens a goodwill, making the Reynes thankful and indebted.
The Targaryen sibling interactions never disappoint. And the war with the Faith of the Seven is inevitable.

Its cool and a different take on the conquest but i kind of fail to see how this is better to be honest. The biggest issues in his conquest were the failure to plan ahead for his keep and city true but largely his biggest blunders were his failure and wifes death in dorne and his bowing to the local religion. Especially in his kids generation the faith caused a lot of problems mostly because he converted and promised to follow the doctrine itself which was a problem till Jaherryes came out with the doctrine of exceptionalism. While an immpressive castle for sure the biggest issue with Harrenhall being his seat is that it’s completely landlocked. Long term it would be better to have a seat as a port city like kings landing. Just make sure it was built more efficiently and better planned out. This version of Eagon just turned the middel of the riverlands into kings landing. Would have been better had he followed his original invasion from cannon given he had successfully conquered 6 of the 7 kingdoms in a year. At that point he could have used dragon stone as his seat while the red keep was being built and just make sure it was better planned out this time. While that is happening plan a more intelligent rout to conquer dorne. Understanding how they fight before you try will given you a huge advantage. Slowing down the progress of conquering the first six kingdoms is actually a terrible idea. The original invasion happened at such a speed it kept other kingdoms from being able to prepare for him. Slowing down could and likely would cause all kinds of other problems. Like maybe the lannisters pay to just have you assasinated by a faceless man in your sleep. Or the other kingdoms use the time to develop scorpions like Dorne used in the original. All in all it seems as if hes risking it all so he can have Harrenhall soley because he believes hes just to good to go the original route and temporarily live at aegon fort. One castle isnt worth slowing your campaign for years and potentially losing it. Dragons aren’t invincible and giving people time to prepare is a bad idea. Also and lastley why would you make Orys a riverlord rather then let him take the stormlands again. I know 260 years from now the stormlands turned on the Targaryens but most of the history after the conquest they were always allies

It is proven once again that SI Aegon's greatest weapon is not his dragons nor his swordplay skill nor his tactical knowledge nor his charisma but instead it is his mind that is his greatest asset. He understands human nature deeply and he maximizes this knowledge to chart his path to success.
Also I wonder just how the Targaryens plan to ensure that no more kids are produced from their intimate activities? Will Harrenhal be stocked full of moon tea or will they rely on contraceptive practices from Essos?
Finally it was a really nice humanizing moment with Visenya fighting her insecurity as despite what official propaganda says or what the Targaryens think, they are still human at the end of the day. Blessed humans yes but still human like everyone else.

“Visenya would give the world to her children if she could, she knew exactly how Aegon felt. Everything they did, they did ultimately for them. They would be their dynasty, their legacy, and what they and their children and their children's children did with it would be up to them. All Visenya and her siblings were responsible for was giving them the most solid and stable foundation they could and she'd be damned if they didn't after knowing just how much of a bad job their counterparts had done.”
I would say with my full chest that his is a core character trait of Visenya, her willingness to do whatever it takes for the sake of her family and children. I really liked how she handled the feelings she had regarding the situation with the conquest of the Westerlands and her not being able to be apart of it, she’s absolutely a person who reveals in the heat of action and battle and with her not being able to help while her wife and husband are out there risking their lives, well I have no doubt it was maddening. This is of course not even mentioning the possible inferiority complex that could have developed from this had the three of them not discussed it together like people in a health relationship. In a song of ice and fire gigantic problems often stem from much smaller issues, it is a reoccurring trend and something that could’ve easily happened right here in this moment had it not been discussed and addressed. I like this as it further shows that the change brought by Aegon is a lot more than mere superficiality, his actions, choices, and opinions are having real and tangible changes on those around him and that’s a VERY important thing to happen for such a young and fledgling dynasty.
Last small thing that’s completely unrelated to the stuff above. I’m so so excited to see how the North will be dealt with and the possible juicy story that can be told there.
Thank you very much for the update author, I hope you’re well, until next time bye bye :)

Well, if the faith is smart - they would HAVE to attack now...The longer they wait, the bigger Aegon's children and their dragons will grow.
A couple of years from now, the number of dragon riders will be doubled. Then it would be game over.
Not that they will manage to do something now. The only way to beat the Targaryens at this point is through assassins. No army can beat them with Balerion, Meraxes and Vhagar on the skies...

As I was reading , I couldn’t help but see the world unfolding so vividly in my mind the emotions, the atmosphere, the rhythm of each moment. Your story is rich with visual potential, and I’d love to help bring that to life. Whether it’s an intense, action-packed sequence or a quiet, emotional beat, your work deserves to be experienced in a way that captures its full depth and energy.
