And so the plot thickens, by a lot. Poor Hachiman, I got a good feeling he won't be able to rest easy for a while. The semi-clueless secret organization is unexpected twist. Though, I did completely forget about the sci-fi part of the sci-fi fantasy, so in hindsight it makes sense to go this route.

Hi, just been rereading 1-10 because I haven't kept up and forgot a lot of stuff. Wanted to say that you manage to write Hachiman in such a perfect way for me, I love it. He feels like Hachiman, he's got just the right amount of loser with the sprinkling of cool that I love. Plus, he's just perfectly imperfect with his hypocrisy and cowardice.
While rereading there was stuff that I either completely missed or forgot, so I was wondering if I could get your input. When Zaimokuza is talking about how he could give each god in his story a special weapon was that reference to Hachiman getting his spear, like, the next chapter? I imagine the other gods also have their own weapons. Is Komachi actually suspecting Hachiman has powers of some kind or is there a different reason for her reaction to esp? Those crows are totally watching him right? Honestly, I think I had more, but I forgot.

So 8man has finally had his first proper battle! Pretty sure his without his improved strength and reflexes, the spheroid thing would have pasted him. He’s definitely going to be glad Oiz forced him to exercise and train.
I do wonder if these supernatural creatures are detected on modern security systems like cameras and such. If someone shot a whole video of Hachiman fighting the spheroid, will they just see Hachiman jumping around dodging invisible strikes? Or will the spheroid be actually seen? Or will the they just see Hachiman or the warehouse getting hit by something invisible? Interesting to think about…
As for who tazed Hachiman, well it’s either a patrolling police officer, the person who summoned/created the spheroid, or perhaps Kamiki the elder himself. Can’t really think of anyone else.
Overall that was a great chapter! Love to see the story picking up speed now! Not to mention the deeper lore of the world!
