there is so much wrong with this.
'thanks to he memories he had gained' he thought to himself. he thinks of himself in the third person?
the punctuations for thoughts arewell sometimed and sometimes its used for accentuation and sometimes neither...
i admit its rather small things, which make it all the more baffling why it is wrong

explitives such as "bang" dont belong in stories, they do in comics, so that you can place it next the picture of what makes the sound. they def dont need quotation marks as if someone is saying "bang".
someone stomping their foot on anothers doesnt really make the sound bang either. i couldnt tell you what does but given that bang can also be a gunshot you might see why this is just not the right term
