man i hate how quickly i burn through these chapters.
I'm loving the characterizations of Dumbledore, Sirius and Harry so far. Sirius retains all his pivotal traits from the original, but Harry especially just feels leaps and bounds more well rounded than the cocky little James Potter he was at the beginning on the original. perhaps that part of him will still rear it's head, but i like that you've shown the depth underneath it anyway.
and my god am I excited for the next chapter. if the events of Diagon alley stays the same, next chapter is going to be a movie.
can't wait for the next chapter! Cheers!

Good restart! I hope Harry is not as cocky or arrogant as he was in the original story especially towards Daphne. That was kind of a tun off it seemed to me.

I do prefer this new way of getting Harry to Hogwarts. I feel sorry for the Weasleys though.

I know how writing goes so no need to say sorry. It's the way things go sometimes. On the other hand, losing your password? tsk tsk :)
The only part I didn't like is Sirius not going in until he heard Harry. Not wanting to see something doesn't justify not checking at all. This is already drifting from canon. Nymphadora is too old and Remus was in on the secret keeper switch. I wonder what other AU things are coming.

I've been waiting for this update notification for two years and i can speak for everyone who read Harry Black the first time around when i say we're glad to have you back!
great first chapter so far and i can definitely see a lot of improvements from the first edition. There's a lot of plot points from the first series that felt sudden and shoehorned that now feel a lot more pre planned. you can really tell that there's a lot more intention and purpose behind this rewrite and I'm excited to see where you take it from here!

OH MY GOD WE ARE SO BACK
The original Harry Black series was one of my favorite fanfictions, to the point that i was considering re reading the original a few days ago even though i knew i would get blue balled again by the cliffhanger. imagine my excitement when i see a new story from authorK. it's good to have you back, man.
phenomenal chapter so far, and i can't wait for the next one (hopefully it doesn't take 2 years again lol)
