Congralutations in starting the final story, I probably will not read it as I am not enjoying the OC-heavy and Meta-heavy late installement of the fics but I can say that the early, less complex installements are from my favourite fics and the thing that got me into Yu-Gi-Oh! and Sailor Moon (and notso much into YuYu-Hakusho but as a latinamerican I find hilarious the "duelo a muerte con cuchillos" meme) and I am planning on rereading them in Chronological order (Taito-Invaders-Burizalor-Mutalior-Pharaomon-Rajita-Virus-...) until Dawn of Chaos & Ascendancy or until I lose interest again, I got sidetracked a lot after the second chapter of DFKai but I am trying, hehehe...

Takato will always be Takato no matter how old he gets. It sucks he had such a nightmare, at least Rika is there to comfort him. Though ominous that another being might want him for nefarious purposes. I know, Adora is to be hissed and boo'ed, however, as one of her fans, I enjoy the energy. She tried to destroy the world, but who hasn't at this point. Good fight with the doofus that burned through his energy to give Takato and Gallantmon the win however these new characters popping up will offer a challenge.
Minako going through the motions and now, like the Kuipers, has to contend with her colleague and friend, Sailor O. I dig Mina holding her old Sailor V mask! I'll hold onto hope the guardian of love can somewhat reach her.
With all the info on the preview, lots of feelings and plot are about to go down.

So not!Ebern was a Gankoomon X? That's kinda high brow but he's a scrub at the end of the day. not!Yhwach has a very silly name, and he's one of the B-plots. Seems like Omegamon is gonna job to him though like Yamamoto.
Sailor Jupiter's amnesia plot is probably the most invested I'll be with the Sailor Moon part of YYGDM post DoC; getting Lita as a temp name is amusing. I like Sailor Mars a lot but her plot is basically everyone's plot.
Other commentary: I know 1 week of DBZ training turned Takato into a taller version of Cobat's take on Megaman Volnutt, but what kinda training did Rika go through to become Fuma Kotaro of Tenkaichi? I still want more context on how she became that huge despite mostly being normal-sized for most of the series.

Ah well one more chapter to end the year so( Looks at the chapter) Its not even the final chapter...why you have to put ALL the Authors Notes hear? Bloody hell...I see the attacks on me are not hear at least so my outburst is of exasperation over fury so( holds back Astral Finish.)
Now for the chapter itself...Takato is getting those Sephiroth style nightmares...well, if the outcome was not already spoiled this would have more of a impact but, at least there IS build up to this final showdown I guess.
Meanwhile Cain is trying to forcefully take over all Duel Monsters as much as oh, Muskrat is trying to own all of well, everything but, at least in this reality this massive unsightly corporate takeover is not just going to fly as Kaiba, Yugi and the rest are preparing there own response.
Meanwhile the Sailor Scouts are dealing with how to get Mars through her very brutally bad day, Sailor" O" going insane and blaming Venus for...something is not helping but, we will see just how much drama this downward spiral amounts to.
Takato is challenged by his poser...said poser goes down fast and hard...sell outs never prosper.
Then we got more foreshadowing, leading with Andrea looking more out of it then usual, since her entire history is that of being a nut job never a good sigh.
And with that we reached the end of the line for now after that giga copy and past rant...just save that for the END damn it...ugh.
But we will see how things go from hear, do try and not take to long to get to the end, who knows what the state of the world will be in just a year, so hopefully see the next time sooner then later but, will hopefully see that next time in 2025, and not the end of it, oh well.

The light really has left this universe and it's the start. You were right about nothing will be the same.
Yuuichirou and Grandpa Hino dying in this chapter was unexpected. Pour one out for wolf-boy Yuchirou, he was a real one, sticking with the girl he loves as an extended family member and beloved uncle to Rei and Hiei's kids. Grandpa Hino will also be missed.
This whole deal of Neo-Crystal Tokyo being a factor in this story is bringing up a lot of feelings. As a fan, I always thought it would be a perfect utopia where conflict stopped and things worked out for the better by bridging the gap of many things. Now though, it feels like it might not be puppies and rainbows as it is something that seems inevitable or at least a giant wall.
Whatever the case, I'll continue to believe in them, no matter how dark it gets, but man, that's a way to pull at the heartstrings, K. You don't play fair! T_T

Ok alot of interesting stuff going down in this one.
We got defiants causing trouble in the digital world, and the fact they can hold their own against digimon like Mizuno and Brimstone is something.
Interesting to see Pluto fuse with the doctor, too bad he and cyberbeelzemon can't fuse, they clash too much.
I see the senshi are starting to question their fates, but nothing is truly set in stone.
Yami Houou claims 2 victims...if she had gotten those children, there would be hell to pay, she will added to the list of evil women I despise.
whatever's about to happen doesn't look good interesting none the less.

We are seeing long time vets like Brimstone being taken out by the Defiants, Cain's weeding out the resistance.
AND Skull Santamon still is like a cockroach and won't just die or shut up about cheeseburgers...good greif.
But, some decent tension as we get major Bleach Thousand Year war vibes hear with this Hans. Meanwhile the Sailor Scouts are still in a funk from everything, well, at least they are not taking it as bad as Christina has I guess and Venus seems like she's gotten her resolve back.
But, Mars might be the one in need of help with this sudden bitter family clash. Her father's insanity lead to the swift demise of her Grandfather, that did get tragic rather fast. Mars managed to subdue her" Dark side" before things went total doomsday but...its not over yet so we will see how things escalate from hear.
Till then, Merry Christmas.

So the Rajita subplot has to deal with the Sternritter parody. I wanna see PileVolcamon Mask de Masculine be weird as hell, not!As Nodt vs Ventimon, and wonder how not!Giselle would be handled.
Meanwhile, Yami Houou Hiroaki continues to emulate Bohman and Coredegon in terms of choking...but he did successfully kill two people close to Sailor Mars so he's still much better than two time wasters. Hope he gets his ass kicked fully eventually.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the chapter..poor christina, going down so deep and she even left her animal partner behind. Now she's sailor O. I hope her friends can help her.
Cain Bearer losing lawsuit against Kaibab was delicious to read.
The characters meeting their shin characters..poor inumon after finding out he has no counterpart in the other world.
Andes posseing a door, I can't help but imagining some inspiration from granny turbo . I loved the bizarre senshi.
Things are getting intense! I am curois how the heroes will handle the villans.
Can't wait to see more!

Got to say, with everything happening in RL, I can't help but feel anxiety, and seeing Cain at the center of this is frustrating as he is the antagonist but no one can do anything to him yet.
This is reminding me to do some reading on previous stories from YYGDM, Shin, and XLR as it's been a long time.
My favorite's got to be Seto defending his company from Cain's verbal assault, would have been funny if Seto or Pegasus held up a finger and yell "OBJECTION!"
