First off amazing chapter
Good to see more Imperial saints be pushing on through against Chaos.
And then you have the Young Justice team be worried of the whereabouts for Keled as he is meeting the Emperor.
While said shovel boy is having revelation upon revelation dropped on him.
From The Emperor apologizing….Magnus will be wanting that on record.
To of the Emperor forgiving Keled and his people on Krieg.
Yeah…very reasonable cause to Faint…
And as for of the Puppies.
There are several options
One is of Keled saving them as you said,
Another is of either Saint Celestine, or the Legion of the damned.
Bursting in and killing the Chaos Cultists who were bout to enact a ritual on literally sacrificing Puppies, Kittens and others to their dark masters.
For only the sacrifice of creatures who embody loyalty, faithfulness etc shall the dark masters send forth their beasts of horror…
Or hell any Ogryns that be granted the rank of Sainthood as they do be faithful servants to da Emperor after all…
Plus PROTECT DA LIL UNS!
Plus after saving da puppies and or kittens you can have the Ogryns think that with the Emperor being on his chair all day fighting off chaos…and be sad why not get him a pet!
Everyone always say that a pet can cure depression in the child like logic of an Ogryn…
But other than that…
Idk what else to tell ya on how to introduce the puppies.
Just as long as it works so to speak…and seriously with all the depressing stuff that happens in this fic and real life…

That sounds good, the Emperor definitely would be regretful but determined to make things right in whatever way he can.
The League will definitely have a problem with the way the Space Marines and the Imperium as a whole are handling the situation but yeah they won’t care.
That Dreadnought in the beginning was very satisfying, destroying chaos ships with ease and being supported by more Space Marines with heavy weapons, amazing. Space Marines are probably becoming quite popular amongst the defenders, even if most are still probably intimidated by them, though still very much grateful for their assistance.
Not surprised that after everything they’ve been through during this chaos invasion that the Team would be feeling like this. I really doubt any of them would really lose sleep over the chaos cultists getting what they deserve. They naturally should only feel guilty and sorrow for the innocents they weren’t able to save.
Also I’m sure that the Space Marines that could hear their conversation would be irritated at the disrespect the Team were giving Celestine by calling her “the girl”, when she’s a Saint.
I loved the scene with Keled and the Emperor, it was so good. He was so shocked and caught off guard by the Emperor apologizing to him. And I especially loved how he had tears when the Emperor put his hand on his shoulder.
Also, the Emperor granting absolution to all Krigsmen, forgiving them for their sins of their ancestors? That is truly a dream come true for all of Krieg. Every Kriegsman will be completely shocked and so very happy and probably be in tears when they learn of it.

Yeah the Team would definitely be affected by all of this, no doubt. I mean seeing what the chaos cultists have been doing to innocent people, with no remorse, they definitely wouldn’t lose sleep over the deaths of cultists. Their mentors will most certainly be concerned about that, but they will also probably understand too, given the situation.

Just realized that besides getting Emps a new body in the form of taking over Vandal's, Emps can get seeds and animals that have long died on his Earth and reintroduce them.

Awesome chapter, good to see the Legion of the damned in action.
Joker be put down…Batman will not be happy bout that…but eh it is what is…
And nice Iron within reference of the Legion damned making that shield wall.
Also, as for the Custodian I didn’t mind of the Kitten name being used…
But I’d thought it would be used for an Omake of the fic not an actual chapter of the fic.
With of Keled be meeting the TTS throne crew, from Big E talking in his text to speech device,
Rogal Dorn who was thought to be dead…in pretend,
Magnus the Red a traitor now redeeming loyalist.
The Pillarstodes as their oiled abs be quivering…etc etc
As again all an Omake.
But now anywho, our Boi Keled of Krieg will be meeting The Emperor himself…
And if something from DC is able to heal or revive the Emperor, or at least repair the Golden throne that helps eases the pain on the Emperor…
You can just imagine the Chaos Gods be putting a bounty on Keled’s Ass and soul for ruining their plans along with healing their greatest threat…
All while the Imperium be rejoicing, with Roboute be crying in sheer relief as the stress of dealing with the carcass of an empire will be shared to his father as well…
And also again the Sisters of Battle will be very well interested in rewarding Keled for his very great deed indeed…as lots of Ara-Ara~~~ and Snu Snu will be initiated as they be wanting to bear an offspring of the Man who saved both the Emperor and the Imperium…
Much to Ravage’s jealousy as she’s the only white haired femme fatale for Keled…
Or she be very interested in a battle sister’s equipment and outfit…and still be pursuing Keled…
Though funny idea be of Trazyn the fucking infinite be finding a Backdoor to the Young Justice verse…and be collecting anything in sight while under the radar…
But also as for the Emperor getting a pupper.
please do so but you gotta make it work as in how was the puppy(ies) found by Keled, by Imperial Daemons, Celestine etc.
Instead of just blatantly or lazy putting it there…
And what of the other animal species as well, as I’m sure there be a Noah’s Ark on the animals by the Emperor’s angels not only to protect the other children of Terra, but also for the Emperor to have the joy of seeing earth’s animals once more with his own eyes as they have been either extinct, or been mutated, augmented over the centuries…
As one of the Emperor’s many past lives is Alexander the Great and he was very fond of both Bucephalus the war horse,
And Peritas the War Doggo…
In fact Bucephalus, is the name of the Emperor’s personal flagship during the Great Crusade…even if it’s been Thousands of years…The Emperor still remembers his horse fondly.
Also, scene suggestion in regards of the Civilian populace witnessing another side of the Imperial Daemons or saints outside of combat.
If one of the Saints helps a young woman become a mother for the first time by delivering her Baby. With the surviving family members nearby, whether the father of the baby, the grandparents etc…
Then the Imperial Saint blesses the newborn with protection of the Emperor spiritually and well physically of any corruption by Chaos…
And plus…possibly add a little wholesome after the whole nightmare that YJ earth experienced…the newborn’s perspective be seeing the Emperor in place of the Imperial saint.
Or just feel his warmth.
Another question is since Pantheon Gods exist in YJ, such as the Greek pantheon, Norse and others along with the Christian God..
What is their take on the whole chaos mess, followed by the Imperial Salvation…
Along with what be the Imperial saints and daemons thoughts in regards of Xenos, Mutants, and Heretics be fighting off the chaos invasion to the best of their ability…
Like the Xenos could have fled to their homeworld but instead they stayed to help protect the Earth…
So yeah…
Also happy 1 year anniversary of Godzilla winning a first ever Oscar…
Plus new chapter for Age of Monsters be out…

Some promising elements, but I'm disappointed by the humorous tone of the ending with the chef custodian: it's going to be hard to take this story seriously with a custodian called kitten.
It's something to think about for the next chapters: a humorous Marvel fanfiction or something more serious.
Personally, I'd prefer the second option with the retcon of "kitten" with a more serious name.
It's up to you, good luck with the next chapters.
