Well, at least having her heart broken taught her not to be deceived by Wickham. Elizabeth knows that Wickham is lying, and Jane is uncomfortable in his presence. These sisters are more discerning indeed!

I'm glad Elizabeth notice Wickham is lying, i think unconsciously he may reminds her of Mr Harrison. I hope soon enough Elizabeth heart start to melt and she could give Darcy a chance, maybe they will meet in Hunsford just like they did in the canon, but his proposal hopefully will be accepted. At least one advantage of Elizabeth being jaded is that she is not so easily deceived and picked up on Wickham’s bullshit almost immediately.
But she really should speak to her father about Mrs. Bennet and Mr. Collins pushing his unwanted attentions on her. She needs to make it plain that she wants his support and she’d rather leave than tolerate it.
