It's good news about Willow casting a spell to block telepathy being the reason why the X-men can't use telepathy to read their minds. That has to be a recent edit, because I don't remember that being in there the last time I read the chapter.
The only issue I might raise with that is that most spells have a limited duration. I'm going to go with it being a sustained spell, which mean Willow can sustain it as long as she expends energy to block the telepathy.

Logan has to have experience fighting vampires-that's how he recognizes the smell of dead ones. No one really pressed him on that point.
9 years is a long time. Still, I hope you're still around and will be able to pick this up again at some point.

I love how you have integrated the two different tv series together, and the ideas you have been unveiling throughout. I'm not sure if you're going to finish this story, but it is interesting and creative enough to merit the thought of finishing.
