Nice chapter. I loved the whole inciddent with Ron and Hermione. Very cute. :) And the swearing didn't hurt it one bit. Ron swears every once in the while in the books, so it wasn't too out of character. ;)

Overall, the first chapter was very good. It introduced what might happen during the story and what the setting will be. Very nice.
I love the concept. I love anything Ron/Hermione. :) Your story seems to be running along nicely.
You might want to run the spellchecker over it for those typos and maybe get another person to look over it though. In fact, I wouldn't mind if you ran it by me. I could fix up a bit (if you'd like) and give a few suggestions. I don't mean to be rude by these remarks.
