Hey- this is a great story. I think it is an excellent character study; Sark and Irina are believable and compelling. I really love your writing style, and your imagery is vivid. I like the detailed focus on a relatively short event that reveals a lot-by far the best kind of short story in my opinion. Yours is a very short story that makes use of each word to great effect. I find the final image especially chilling. Great job, and thanks for a wonderful story.
