Wow. This is truly, *truly* a wonderful piece of fanfiction. I am just glad that I tried this one out after a recommendation; it has truly been a rewarding read!
I myself am stunned at the minimal response this story is getting, the effort you are putting into the plot, the characters (the OC's you've created are very well-rounded and characterized, btw) and all the sub-plots etc., is remarkable. *applauds*
Despite the fact that it can be very confusing and hard for my somewhat limited mind to follow, I am (or think I am) understanding most of what is going on. (Of course, you know it's a th Kagome through the ceiling could have used a little more. ie: Did it hurt Kagome? Did the dust make her cough? Was there debris in her hair or getting up either's nose? (especially concerning Inuyasha.) It felt like it was over a little too quickly.

This chapter was definitely intense, and oh - the tension! Mischa sealed into her human form completely now...I can't wait to see this play out.

Your story gets more and more interesting. It's addicting :p Although I have been wondering lately if you're going to add the voice back in, the one that spoke to Kagome when she didn't first go to the wellhouse. Who is the speaker anyway?

Loved the recitation of the Kikyo/Inuyasha story by a Kagome who doesn't remember (or who changed) her own role in that story!
And I really liked the very last scene, with Meirin returning to her hanyou self, to hear bits and pieces of what her youkai self has been up to.
Good job, as always, in spinning a complicated tale. I'm eagerly looking forward to the next chapter!

Hi Nighthawk!
Wow, you've been really busy. Good to see a motivated author WITH a good story! Too often at least one of those two conditions sadly doesn't apply. Being able to hit "Next Chapter" a number of times is great :)
The plot continues to complicate now that Kage has taken over. I'm pretty sure she'll run into trouble soon, I don't think you can mess with an ally of a dragon just like that. Well, Kino actually counts on Kage doing that stuff, but Shinin should have enough power at his own hands if Kino doesn't want to act directly. This will surely get complicated.
Talking of Kage, I also wonder how and when her personality split exactly. I caught that Kage and Mischa share the same memories until the "day of their separation", so there must have been some event in which Shinin looks to be involved. I'm really interested what you're going to make with that...
The other "opponents", Matsu and Kino, continue to dance around each other. I hope I didn't miss it before, but at least now I caught that he's the brother of Ryuukotsusei. I hope Matsu looks out (he's so easygoing sometimes), I'm pretty sure that Kino has a very good and twisted plan on his mind. I wonder if Kino isn't playing with the fire, toying with Kage, but I guess as an century-old dragon he doesn't exactly have to fear her and should be in the same league or maybe even more powerful than Sessh.
I think these were my favorites this time, but I could go on rambling about the other happenings as well, like the crime scene investigation, the problems of the fox and wolf clans (a lot seems to happen here) or Souta's escape. You're keeping a lot of plot elements in balance, well done! And you're not forgetting your characters over that.
One warning about your dictionary: Personally, I'm all for it and actually had one in my own story for more than a year. Sadly, has recently started to be somewhat meticulous about their rules, and I almost had my story deleted because of the vocabulary chapter. In the end they simply deleted the chapter because they classified it as chapter with just author comments.
I really hope you can keep up updating despite the trouble with the hurricanes. If not, I hope you at least can when the problems are solved. Good luck with that!

Whoa! I was so confused in the beginning of chp.3. It took me 3 times rereading that it wasn't Kag at the bar. I'm so dumb sometimes, I swear. Is Mischa an OC, or a reincarnation? If she is a reincarnation, I wonder who she is? I bet you explain in later chaps but whatever. I love the dialogue b/w Kag and the mysterious voice. I think I will have to change my former opinion that it was Midoriko, but maybe the youkai and Midoriko together? makes no sense so never mind. Ja!

Still here and still reading, LOL. Another complicated chapter, they seem to all have hidden agenda's in this matter. Yes, Inuyasha doesn't seem to care at all (pissy little bugger) but at least he isn't as mean as he could be, will he ever start to care?

The queen of cynicism, huh? Hmm what does that make me? The queen of romantic comedy and fluff? Hell, you've read my stuff, you know what I write like. I started out angsty...now legend is one big FLUFF ball. Ahh but after reading the latest manga and watching the latest anime...fluff definitely comes in handy when there is so much angst.
I have waited for this update forever, so Kagome knows that Inuyasha has been around her all this time, just hasn't seen him until recently? Hmm...the scene with all the ramen was hilarious! Nice job. Can't wait for more!

Anyhow, I continue to enjoy this story tremendously. I really like your take on a plotline that hasn't been done a lot in this fanfiction universe.
