A tall doctor walked in to greet Seto, "Hello, Mr. Kaiba. We need to take a few of your vitals. Let me see your wrist."

"I don't know why you insist on keeping me here. I'm fine and I've missed work today."

The doctor took his pulse. "Mmhmm…." The doctor distractedly looked at his watch as he held Seto's wrist. "Well, now let's check your heartbeat." The doctor pulled the stethoscope out, but the brown haired Snow King sat up demandingly.

"Didn't I tell you? I'm Seto Kaiba, you know, president of KaibaCorp!"

"Yes, I know that, Mr. Kaiba. Pretty much everyone knows that by now. But if you must know, we're going to have to hold you for a couple of days."

"What? Why?!" Seto demanded.

Those who smirked at him (Seto Kaiba), snickered at his (Seto Kaiba's) temper tantrums, trying so hard to restrain their laughter.

He (Seto Kaiba) and Mokuba turned to directly glare at those who dared to snicker at him (Seto Kaiba).

"What are you laughing at?" Seto demanded.

One of them responded innocently, "Nothing."

With hands placed on his hands, Mokuba had defensively given those who dared to snicker at his elder brother a "Could any of you care to explain who're you guys laughing at?" look.

Another one of them had shaken their heads no in response.

"Well, Mr. Kaiba, you're not in a good enough condition to be released yet. Normally, these injuries would be bad enough, but you're body's unusually stressed which is going to take a while before we can release you."

"Ugh! Well how long before I can go?" Seto shouted demandingly.

Those who continuously smirked at him (Seto Kaiba), still snickered at him (Seto Kaiba).

"I'm not sure, but you need to relax and let your body heal."

"What's to heal?!" Seto demanded. "None of my bones are broken, I'm not suffering any brain trauma, either, what reason do you have to keep me here?!" Seto demanded continuously. "Watch." Seto had thrown the blankets off of him and begun to get out of bed. "Mr. Kaiba!" the doctor shouted, but Seto stood up, rather quickly trying to move.

"See! I can even walk!" But the room seemed to jerk sideways and he (Seto Kaiba) stumbled into Mokuba which was noticed by the others who burst out laughing at him (Seto Kaiba) hysterically.

Hearing other people's hysterical laughter, Seto turned to furiously glare at those who've seen him (Seto Kaiba) stumbling with their own eyes, made fun of him (Seto Kaiba) like they dared to.

"Hey, what's so funny?" Seto demanded.

One of them pointed at him (Seto), laughing, "You, Kaiba, the same snotty Snow King who only stumbled into your poor little doll baby brother!"

They continuously laughed at Seto.

Mokuba turned to directly glare at those who laughed at Seto, "I am not a baby. I am not a doll."

"My bad."

Seto continued to directly glare at those who laughed at him (Seto), "Hey, that's not funny!"

But as they still laughed at Seto, one of them smirked at him (Seto), "Not to you, Kaiba. That's what you get for ignoring the doctor's warnings."

The other one smirked at him (Seto Kaiba), "Serves you right for refusing to listen to the doctor's warnings, Your Royal Stubbornness."

Another one of them asked Mokuba about Seto, "Aw man, who would've thought your mighty big brother proved to be some real clumsy klutz himself?"

The other made fun of him (Seto) in agreement, "Yeah! His Royal Iciness sure is the real obstinate, pig-headed Snow King."

Which caused Seto Kaiba to growl at those who laughed at him once he heard those insults they've had thrown at his (Seto Kaiba's) face.

"You guys, that's not funny," Mokuba defensively told those who laughed at Seto Kaiba for stumbling.

One of them tried not to laugh at Seto Kaiba anymore, "You're right."

But they continued to burst out laughing at Seto Kaiba for stumbling again.

"It's countless times funnier, ain't it?"

Sighing in defeat, Mokuba folded his arms over his chest, only waiting for the laughter to die down at last.

"Mr. Kaiba! You have to stop this! You're going to hurt yourself!" The doctor helped him (Seto) back in the bed. "You're on a lot of medication, and I've already told you the reason you're staying. Now lay down and relax."

One of them directly smirked at Seto Kaiba in agreement with him (the doctor) mockingly, "He's right, Mr. Snotty-pants!"

"Yeah, so listen to him, Crabby-pants!" another one of them added, smirking at Seto Kaiba which still caused him (Seto Kaiba) to growl at those who laughed at him for stumbling.

The other one assured the doctor, smirking at Seto Kaiba, "Don't worry, His Royal Crabbiness is only being nothing but a huge snob."

Seto growled at those who laughed at him, called him that, "Why you."

"You guys, please stop it!" Mokuba scoldingly told those who laughed at Seto for stumbling.

"Wish we could do that, but none of us could resist."

They kept laughing at Seto Kaiba for stumbling which made him (Seto Kaiba) angrier than he was.

Mokuba had shaken his head no as he thought it was useless to tell the others to stop laughing at Seto.

As the doctor turned to scoldingly glare at those who uncontrollably laughed at Seto for stumbling nonstop, he cleared his throat.

Which caused the others to take those smiles/smirks off their faces.

"What?" one of them asked the doctor.

"Yeah, what's the look for?" another one of them asked the doctor.

Finally, Mokuba placed his hands on his hips, still glaring at those who dare to make fun of Seto.

"And as for the rest of you, Mr. Kaiba's on a lot of medication and you think this is funny?! If you think it's acceptable to laugh at victimized patients who're on a lot of medications, I assure you, it is unacceptable to make fun of victimized patients who're on a lot of medications. It is best if none of you have poked fun at Mr. Kaiba."

Mokuba defensively glared at those who wildly laughed at Seto for stumbling in agreement with the doctor with his hands placed on his hips, "That's right. If any of you guys ended up becoming other patients here in this hospital, like my brother, you'd realize the fact that this isn't a game so none of you dare make fun of my brother."

One of them tried to tell Mokuba and the doctor why it was funny to see Seto stumble, "But-"

However, the doctor sternly interrupted those who laughed at Seto Kaiba for stumbling, "No excuses, taunting victimized patients who're on a lot of medications is still ill mannered and uncalled for."

Mokuba nodded in agreement with the doctor, still glaring at those who blindly found that funny to see Seto stumble, "You tell them."

Seto coldly glared at the doctor defeatedly, "I still say I should be able to leave, don't you agree with me, Mokuba?"

"Uh…" he looked at the doctor and his big brother. "I really don't want to get into the middle of it." He (Mokuba) sat in a chair.

One of them turned to glare at Seto Kaiba in the defense of Mokuba, "Hey, you snob, leave your poor little doll baby brother out of this."

Seto glared in return, "Fine." He (Seto) laid back against his pillow.

"You know, Mr. Kaiba? You're one lucky fellow. You could've been killed in that wreck, but by the grace of God, you survived. I think you should be more thankful for all that you've gotten."

Seto sulked, "Humph!"

Mokuba looked down at the floor, wishing the doctor knew the real Seto, and didn't judge him just by the way he acted now. If the doctor actually knew Seto like he (Mokuba) knew him, he (the doctor) would understand.

He wished none of them laughed at Seto for stumbling.

They were walking down the hall when they passed Seto Kaiba's hospital room, but as Yugi stopped to notice that the door was opened, Joey refused, "Oh no, not again. Forget it, Yugi, we're not checking in on that jerk."

"Aww, come on, Joey, we should find out how he's doing." Yugi looked inside Kaiba's hospital room door. Seto was sitting up in bed, talking to Mokuba. His shirt was off, and there was a bandage wrapped around his chest. "He's awake. Come on, let's go see."

"I want to see this infamous Kaiba…" Serenity walked over to the door.

"Hey, Kaiba," Yugi greeted him, walking in. Seto rolled his eyes.

"You again?…Who's she?" Seto asked, looking at Serenity. She met his gaze, and their eyes locked for a second. Oh…his eyes…they were so….deep…so…blue.

"Wow," she thought, "how can someone so handsome be as evil as Joey says he is?"

"Hey, is anyone home?" Seto's cold voice jolted her from her thoughts. "I asked you a question."

"Oh, sorry," she apologized to Seto, feeling the heat rise to her face. "I was just thinking. What was the question?"

"What's your name?" he demanded impatiently. "Serenity Wheeler," she introduced herself, wishing she could be swallowed up by the earth.

"What are you here for?" "Oh, I had an eye operation." She looked down at the floor. Seto's cold glare was still fixed on her. She looked at Joey, the blond who was glaring at him (Seto Kaiba) with anger in his eyes.

"I think we should go now. I'm really hungry." She pulled at his sleeve, but Yugi seemed intent on staying.

"When are they going to let you out?" he asked Seto.

"Tomorrow, definitely," he said confidently. Serenity stepped out of the room.

"I'm going. If you're with me, come on."

She was really just looking for any excuse to get away from him.

"Oh, sorry." she apologized to Seto, feeling the heat rise to her face. "I was just thinking. What was the question?"

"What's your name?" he demanded impatiently. "Serenity Wheeler." She introduced herself, wishing she could be swallowed up by the earth.

"What are you here for?" "Oh, I had an eye operation." She looked down at the floor. Seto's cold glare was still fixed on her. She looked at Joey, the blond who was glaring at him (Seto Kaiba) with anger in his eyes.

"I think we should go now. I'm really hungry." She pulled at his sleeve, but Yugi seemed intent on staying.

"When are they going to let you out?" he asked Seto.

"Tomorrow, definitely." he said confidently. Serenity stepped out of the room.

"I'm going. If you're with me, come on." She said, although she was really just looking for any excuse to get away from him.

A tall doctor walked in to greet Seto. "Hello, Mr. Kaiba. We need to take a few of your vitals. Let me see your wrist."

"I don't know why you insist on keeping me here. I'm fine and I've missed work today." Seto insisted as the doctor took his pulse.

"Mmhmm…." The doctor distractedly looked at his watch as he held Seto's wrist. "Well, now let's check your heartbeat." The doctor pulled the stethoscope out, but the brown haired Snow King sat up demandingly.

"Didn't you listen to me? I'm Seto Kaiba, you know, president of Kaiba Corp!"

"Yes, I know that, Mr. Kaiba. Pretty much everyone knows that by now. But if you must know, we're going to have to hold you for a couple of days."

"What? Why?!" Seto demanded.

"Well, Mr. Kaiba, you're not in a good enough condition to be released yet. Normally, these injuries would be bad enough, but you're body's unusually stressed which is going to take a while before we can release you."

"Ugh! Well how long before I can go?" Seto shouted demandingly.

"I'm not sure, but you need to relax and let your body heal."

"What's to heal?!" Seto demanded. "None of my bones are broken, I'm not suffering any brain trauma, either, what reason do you have to keep me here?!" Seto demanded continuously. "Watch," Seto had thrown the blankets off of him and begun to get out of bed. "Mr. Kaiba!" The doctor shouted, but Seto stood up, rather quickly trying to move.

"See! I can even walk!" But the room seemed to jerk sideways and he (Seto Kaiba) stumbled into Mokuba which wasn't unnoticed by the others who burst out laughing at him (Seto Kaiba) hysterically.

Hearing other people's hysterical laughter, Seto turned to angrily glare/growl at those who've seen him (Seto Kaiba) stumbling with their own eyes, made fun of him (Seto Kaiba).

"Hey, what's so funny?" Seto demanded.

One of them pointed at him (Seto). "You, Kaiba, the same snotty Snow King who only stumbled into your poor baby brother!"

They continuously laughed at Seto.

Mokuba turned to directly glare at those who laughed at Seto. "I'm not a baby."

Seto continued to directly glare at these/those who laughed at him (Seto). "Hey, that's not funny!"

But as they still laughed at Seto, one of them smirked at him (Seto). "Not to you, Kaiba, but serves you right for refusing to listen to the doctor's warnings, Your Royal Stubbornness."

One of them asked Mokuba about Seto. "Aw man, who would've thought your mighty big brother proved to be some real klutz himself?"

Another one of them made fun of him (Seto) in agreement. "Yeah! His Royal Iciness sure is the real pig-headed Snow King." Which caused Seto Kaiba to growl at those who laughed at him once he heard those insults they've thrown at his (Seto Kaiba's) face.

"You guys, that's not funny." Mokuba defensively told those who laughed at Seto Kaiba for stumbling.

One of them tried not to laugh at Seto Kaiba anymore. "You're right, Mokuba."

But they continued to burst out laughing at Seto Kaiba for stumbling again.

"It's countless times funnier, ain't it?"

Mokuba sighed in defeat as he folded his arms over his chest, only waiting for the laughter to die down at last.

"Mr. Kaiba! You have to stop this! You're going to hurt yourself!" The doctor helped him (Seto) back in the bed. "You're on a lot of medication, and I've already told you the reason you're staying. Now lay down and relax."

One of them directly smirked at Seto Kaiba mockingly. "The doctor's right, Mr. Snotty-pants!"

"Yeah, so listen to him, Crabby-pants!" another one of them added, smirking at Seto Kaiba which still caused him (Seto Kaiba) to growl at those who laughed at him for stumbling.

Another one of them assured the doctor, smirking at Seto Kaiba. "Don't worry, His Royal Crabbiness is only being nothing but a huge snob."

Seto growled at those who laughed at him, called him that. "Why you,"

"You guys, please stop it!" Mokuba scoldingly told those who laughed at Seto for stumbling.

"Wish we could, but none of us could resist."

They kept laughing at Seto Kaiba for stumbling which made him (Seto Kaiba) angrier than he was. Mokuba had shaken his head no, thinking it was useless to tell the others to stop laughing at Seto.

As the doctor turned to scoldingly glare at those who uncontrollably laughed at Seto for stumbling nonstop, he cleared his throat, "Ahem!"

Which caused the others to take those smiles/smirks off their faces.

"As for the rest of you, Mr. Kaiba's on a lot of medication and you think this is funny?! I assure you, it is not, it is unacceptable to make fun of patients who're on a lot of medications. It is best if none of you have poked fun at Mr. Kaiba."

Mokuba defensively glared at those who wildly laughed at Seto for stumbling in agreement with the doctor as he placed his hands on his hips. "That's right. If any of you guys ended up becoming other patients here in this hospital, like my brother, none of you would be laughing so don't you dare make fun of my brother."

One of them tried to tell Mokuba and the doctor why was it funny to see Seto stumble. "But,"

However, the doctor sternly interrupted those who laughed at Seto Kaiba for stumbling, "No excuses, taunting patients who're on a lot of medications is still ill mannered."

"Uh…" he looked at the doctor and his big brother. "I really don't want to get into the middle of it." He (Mokuba) sat in a chair.

One of them turned to glare at Seto Kaiba in the defense of Mokuba. "Hey, you snob, leave your poor baby brother out of this."

Seto glared in return. "Fine." He (Seto) laid back against his pillow.

"You know, Mr. Kaiba? You're one lucky fellow. You could've been killed in that wreck, but by the grace of God, you survived. I think you should be more thankful for all that you've gotten."

Seto sulked. "Humph!"

Mokuba looked down at the floor, wishing the doctor knew the real Seto, and didn't judge him just by the way he acted now. If the doctor actually knew Seto like he (Mokuba) knew him, he (the doctor) would understand.

They were walking down the hall when they passed Seto Kaiba's hospital room, but as Yugi stopped to notice that the door was opened, Joey refused. "Oh no, not again. Forget it, Yugi, we're not checking in on that jerk."

"Aww, come on, Joey, we should find out how he's doing." Yugi looked inside Kaiba's hospital room door. Seto was sitting up in bed, talking to Mokuba. His shirt was off, and there was a bandage wrapped around his chest. "He's awake. Come on, let's go see."

"I want to see this infamous Kaiba…" Serenity walked over to the door.

"Hey, Kaiba." Yugi greeted him, walking in. Seto rolled his eyes.

"You again?…Who's she?" Seto asked, looking at Serenity. She met his gaze, and their eyes locked for a second. Oh…his eyes…they were so….deep…so…blue.

"Wow," she thought, "how can someone so handsome be as evil as Joey says he is?"

The reason Seto's such a snotty-pants was because he unknowingly got himself and Mokuba adopted by Gozaburo Kaiba, the inner coldhearted, distant, remote, detached Ice/Snow Kingly CEO (which stands for chief executive officer) who made Seto the way he is, after their biological parents' fatal deaths, their relatives used up their inheritance and left them at an orphanage which was one of the reasons why he's very protective of Mokuba, it could be possible that Seto may have abandonment problems with those certain relatives and have a lot of resentment towards them as much as towards Gozaburo.
