Oh, I love this! What a perfect way to get into Gilbert's head. I love the way you refer to events that happened in other books (such as Aunt Mary Maria) so that it all comes together cohesively.

Wow, this is excellent! Lol, though the first chapter was a bit long, but definitely worth reading! This is the first story in this section since I'm usually in a totally different genre of writing, but I love it so much! It's almost as if you were L.M Montgomery! Please continue, and I hope you get to Anne's entrance soon! No more distractions! Haha, I love this!

Absolutely amazing. I found it incredible how you were able to weave such an intresting interactions with the given information of the book. The style - perfect. Characters and interpretation - perfect. Absolutely wonderful, every single little aspect. I don't believe I've ever enjoyed reading a fanfiction as much as this one. You have serious talent and potential, keep it up. =)

:-) Oh, now this is wonderful! It's clear you've put a good deal of effort into the details and canonicity of this fic, and Maud's books aren't the easiest ones to be true to like that. You've filled in the gaps wonderfully in this, and really gotten the tone and culture and attitudes of Avonlea down pat. :-)
I've had a soft spot for Gilbert Blythe since I was eleven, and at nineteen it's still here! You've gotten into his head wonderfully - from his closeness with his father to his braininess to his clannishness and all around boyishness. :-) PLEASE update very soon!
