This was a great story! The characterization for Gilbert was good, as I could see him for the most part acting in such a manner. Writing was nice, and easy to read and definitely reminded of Montgomery's style. Again, good story. Hope the subsequent chapters are just as well done. ^_^

My prayers have been answered! ;) Please continue, I'm tickled pink over this story. It's hard to tackle fan fiction based on books themselves, but you've done great. You've got their characterizations down pat, as well as their mannerisms and Avonlea-speak. I just adore Gilbert and have always wanted his character explored, especially in reference to his Anne-girl. So, please, carry on. It rawks! *moves to put story on favorites* ;)
